i dont get this part of the movie if he has priscilla round for only two he should be spending every momment he can with her not playing pool to gods what time and leave there all alone bored to death
Her father was a complete moron, HELLO WTF was he thinking! Be happy for your daughter to get out of your pathetic lifestyle and actually be a somebody!
one question they didnnt answer is if she hadnt heard from elvis in awhile after they moved into that new apartment how in the world was he able to find her number to call her 2 and a half to 3 years later??????????
Omg..Everyone! Can we not forget that at the time she was a young teenage girl. She wore her emotions on her sleeve..So of course when he finally contacted her she was extremely excited... he was her first love, and idc what anyone says..he loved her too.
I never understood why her parents didn't tell him to go away and come back when she was 18. I would not let my 14 year old daughter go out with a rock star.
OMG what did they do to hair lol by the looks of this film i think elvis would of been happy to just have a casual fling with her. If i was her i don't give a crap if he was elvis or not him running around with every girl in town so early into the relationship would of been enough warning sign for me. But than again at 14 she maybe had some warped fantasy of happy ever after.
well what the hell did she expect? he was away for a long time and plus he was a rock n roll star...i think she continued to send him letters but at one point he answered bc he loved her too not here maybe but at sometime he did
I agree, and I absolutely do NOT think her parents were in on some kind of plot to trap Elvis as some have suggested. It was all Priscilla which she shows here. Even when he hadn't called, she kept writing and came for 2 visits in 62. There is another point where her mother is telling her to forget him because he hadn't contacted her in 6 months, & at the beginning of Vol II she says she knew she had to get back to him or loose him forever.
she contradicts herself here. in the movie she says she kept writing and her letters were unanswered. in one of her interviews, she said elvis kept the relationship going. she said he would send her 45's in the mail with love letters. that doesn't make any sense.
Priscilla contradicts herself in every documentary, movie, & interview. At the end of part 7 her mother is telling her to forget him because he hadn't called in 6 months, but she kept writing asking to visit. That seems like forgetting to me & there is evidence that is true! Anita Wood found letters from Priscilla where she was asking Elvis to convince her parents to let her visit plus Elvis had gone home to Anita Wood & leading lady affairs. (I wrote about this on page 2 of part 7)
I find it telling that she says Anita Wood had just left that morning, and Elvis was afraid she might call during the night. According to Grualnick's "Elvis:Day by Day" Anita was still living at Graceland at this point so Elvis had Priscilla to California with a trip to Vegas so they wouldn't meet up. Anita left 8/6/62 after overhearing Elvis telling his father he was having a hard time deciding between them. Priscilla has Elvis discarding Anita for her!!
She mentions Elvis hadn't contacted her in months, and shows him with a women on the set. Some of his on set affairs were short term like Juliet Prowse who was also having an affair with Sinatra who almost caught them, or Tuesday Weld , but others were longer, off and on like Joan Blackman who he practically lived with, or Anne Helm who stayed at Graceland between Anita and Priscilla. Ann Margret was the one he fell in love with in summer of 63, lasted a year, & he would try to get her back.
unbelieveable what her parents allowed her in that years.....my teenage-years were in the 80s and my parents were really ....I mean......huhuhu!!!!!!!!!!!!!My pa from Sicily and my Ma from Greece........imagine!
does anyone know how she was able to gamble since she was only like 17 was it just because she was with elvis that no one cared, I was always curious about that
ok as far as i can see ELVIS was a unfaithfull man to all his women's

Elvis is the typical male in this movie I guess so far. He was a womanizer, but at the same time wanted to have a family
