I don't care who it is. I learned on the 2000 and eventually bought my own 1000. Bought Reason in 07 and been exclusively using that for about 3 or 4 years now. It doesn what I need to do but man it's just the way you work with the MPC that's unique and of course that built in groove is almost irreplacable!
