  • Mr Bean...! :D

  • @koushalpateltv if you are a right hand baller, and you keep the untaped side towards slip for a right hand batsmen, the ball will swing out for the right handed batsman more speed means more swing and slow speed means less swing.if you keep the untaped side towards the legs of right hand batsmen the ball will swing towards him.

  • Very well rehearsed :)

Thnx that is a great idea

  • you are too slow, I can make that in short time!

  • LOL, I can tape it five times in this much time and in piece tape as well, this is not how you do it man

  • @obaidniazi what's piece tape?

  • @spare2288 tape is not supposed to be torn into multiple pieces over the ball instead you just rotate it around and complete the full sphere, it takes a bit of practice to achieve 100% sphere shape but once you do you can actually do things with the ball too e.g. you call bowl indippers and leg cutters and gentle seemers too

  • @obaidniazi Thanks for clarifying. The full ball method is another way to go for sure. How do you control which way it swings? Do you have to rough up one side?

  • @spare2288 if you leave just one broken tape edge on the ball i swings away to other side just like the hard ball as it reverses away from the scruffed up side. Legcutters, you hold it with one finger wrist behind pointing towards fine leg in off spin fashion you bowl fast and it cuts away after pitching. Turning it off the pitch is easier than the hard ball and since you can squeeze it too you don't have to do much to bowl "doosra" so you can do all kind of stuff once you tape it with one piece

  • @obaidniazi mate, you sound like an expert. You should post a video!

  • @spare2288 LOL Thanks, wish i was as handsome as you are :)

  • @obaidniazi haha!

  • i meant one piece btw, sorry for the confusion.

  • In pakistan we tape up the whole ball it swings and spins well!

  • wat kind of tape do u use and where do u get it

  • @AfridiPower608 yep, my first youtube video, so pretty awkward! In my defence I only expected 1 or 2 views! In answer to your question, we played on cement and from memory they last about 10 overs before parts of it start coming off. We patched it up with more tape so it would last a couple of hours. One you have got the hang of it you can tape it pretty quickly anyway.

  • This guy is doing bare shite

  • @Natakidaka there's a better version - follow the link

  • can i use transparent tape

  • @tani1193 I wouldn't think so. Worth a try I guess.

  • What tape are u ment to use

  • @MrGNikka well you got up to 5 thumbs! Ok, expect a new video by early next week :)

  • @MrGNikka ok new video is up! Just follow the link. Enjoy!

  • i get stuck after i make the triangles :(

  • @MrGNikka Hmm maybe I need to make an easier to follow video...vote this comment up if you agree. If it gets to 5 thumbs I'll make a new one for you.

  • can you make one that covers the whole ball? and can you like place the camera on a table and hold the ball over the camera, that way we can see

  • @MrGNikka Whole ball is EASY! This should be all you need bit.ly(slash)hIGnnF

  • dude you r soo slow :(

  • @ashraymallesh Lucky day ashray - made a 1 minute version just for you! Check out the link, and let me know how you go.

  • normally, on a "real" cricket ball .. it swings towards the shiny part

  • @rahimkab unfortunately it's not that simple! check out the link in the description for a thorough treatise on the matter!
