The concept of Salvation as understood by our Christian brothers does not apply in Islam. You are getiing saved from what to what? Why should I pay the price for Adam's sin in "heaven". The Bible states that the father will not bear the iniquities of the son and the vice versa. wow I just found a misinterpretation of the bible. If you read the whole bible you ´ll see that what is said 1.43 sek ( romans 6.23 ) is an explanation what will happen to your body. Your body will perish because of your sins, therefor you need a spirit and jesus can only give that spirit eternal life. The koran has a way to salvation: Jihad. All a person has to do for him and his immediate family to reach paradise is to die in the fight for islam, but he has to actually kill some infidels for it to work. So he has to die for islam to wash away his sins, while Christ already did that. Seems like the choice for me is a no-brainer.

There is only a Son becuase Jesus is the express image of God. That is the form that God chose for himself. Hence Genesis is making man in his image. What image is that? the image of Jesus. Then you truely do not understand the salvation. In the old testiment salvation or redemption was through the sacrifice of a lamb, the washing of its blood, going into the holy room with the candle, bread, and lights.
We see this reflected in Jesus and his salvation message. We need to die to our sins (repent), wash ourselfs (baptism), and be reborn (receive the holy ghost).

@rocha333 - How can Muslim know when his good deeds overcome the bad? Jesus said if you have sinned in your heart/mind it is the same as doing the sin. No one can be sinless, except for Jesus. So He is the only one who can take the place of the sinner - for God to punish and kill. But even the thief on the cross next to Jesus was forgiven and went to paradise that very night, (even though he had no chance to do good deed). See Luke 23:43

my comments are simple and easy to understand. alright. i may have misused the word repent here. thts why u are confused. lets change it to...not repeating the same mistake/ turn over a new leaf, whatsoever. they all have similar meanings which is to change their character or attitude for the better. whatever. english words are taken from sanscripts and other languages too. what do i care?

yes, in the human world, if one is sentenced to jail term for molesting or whatsoever, he will not escape the punishment because the law cannot overlook such crime and punishment must be served. God is the al-mighty and he differs from human. if God in islam is not forgiving, what difference does that create him among humans? God(Allah) is the most supreme.

furthermore, it is already known in islam that shaytaan will try every means to stop people from becoming faithful to God. God is fair and cannot overlook sins? hah! if that's the case then, everyone of us will have loads of sins right? for islam teaches that God is the most forgiving. if truly, you feel remorseful about what you did and sincerely wants to repent, God is ever ready to forgive you. for God is the most forgiving.
