in a way yes from a devote, maniacal, aspect of his character, but she has solidus' arms and passion, and decoy octopus' ability to shape-shift hence why she looks like old snake.

all the bb corps have aspects from the enemies of the previous games because just like the other games in the series you are only playing exactly the same game over and over.

true, the way I see it, the first part of the name is one of the characters from MGS3, and the second part from MGS1

like this:

Crying Wolf = The Sorrow+ Sniper Wolf

Raging Raven = The Fury+ Vulcan Raven

Screaming Mantis = The Fear+ Psycho Mantis (i know, the puppets she has are the sorrow and psycho mantis, but still)

Laughing Octopus = The Joy+Decoy Octopus (for those who haven't really followed the enire series, The Joy is an alias of The Boss)
