  • Cute dance. I wish there was better verison up though.

  • Awesomeness! I 'member watching this while eating candy on Halloween when I was 12! :)

  • i loved this routine. edyta done a great job choreographing this tango

  • Horrible quality.

  • Thanks =]

  • no problem lol! You also cut off the end which is annoying, but thanks anyways.

  • yo matt waz lovin it

  • Yeah, Debby I'm sure. =] Ty told this during this season. check his blog =] and the pros do choose their costumes either. That's why Edyta wears like... Edyta! hehehe =p

  • If I were Edyta, I would have walked after they gave me The Adams Family Theme to tango too. Damn whats next? A samba to the Love Boat Theme song? But she is a class act and made the best out of it for sure.

  • Debby, look, the producers show a list to the dancers. And the pro pick one. So, she decided to use this song. Personally, I didn't like her mambo with Cameron danced to "Mas que nada" (that is a samba song for me), but.. what can i say? Love her. heheh

  • Caslusfilho--are you sure they choose? If she chose that wow? Maybe the others were even worse--ha! Like theme song to Welcome Back Kotter or One Day At A Time! Terrible song to choose though. Back then I guess you could choose something like that. Now--no way. It would make them look like a joke.

  • This was the Halloween special, so how would this song make them look ridiculous?

  • Who gives a shit if it was Halloween? The song is rediculous to tango to. If it were Christmans would it be okay to Tango to Jingle Bells? Its just an inapropriate song to Tango too. I can't think of a good song thats Halloween themed to Tango too. A waltz to Silent Night might be good. My point is this song was a Theme song really to a TV show. DWTS can do better in my opinion.

  • The Addams Family Theme is a popular song, so it shouldn't matter if it's a theme song or not. They really didn't have enough options for tango since Monique and Louis also danced the tango and Distubia by Rihanna didn't exist at the time. Plus, it's a TV show! If it was a strict ballroom competition, then it would have low ratings. By the way, Jingle Bells would be a quickstep, not a tango. If there was a Christmas special like SCD, they probably wouldn't have tango.

  • They DON'T pick the music! The producers pick the music ahead of time just like they pick the dances. How do you think Lance and Lacey got I Kissed A Girl for their Paso Doble? The producers probably thought it would be funny, and cleared it with Lance beforehand.

  • Akihiro, look, the process that I know is this: the dancers offer songs to producers before the beggining of the season, so the producers try to get them (copyrights and this stuff). Then, the producers make a list. And from this list the dancers pick the songs. But if Edyta, for example, pick one before, Derek, so the song is hers. That's what I know, but I can be wrong

  • The way you explained it makes sense, but I've heard the version I explained a lot more, so now I'm confused.

  • @caslusfilho I've heard the same thing--and we know there are always last-minute exceptions (using Spice World for Mel B, for example).

  • Actually, Mark and Kym danced to the I Dream of Jeannie theme if that's close enough.

  • It could be the both ways...

  • Ha ha. . . a tango to the Addams Family Theme.

    Brilliant.
