  • Dude nice try but a audio would have been helped a lot...

  • what's the use of putting this video ......it doesn't makes any sense. FYI this video does not contins any kind of expl.......

  • this video requires audio and text support in order to understand clearly

  • It might help people to know that this is not a simple household breaker but a much larger commercial or even switch gear one as when the current running through the bottom part of the unit gets to high it creates an electromagnet and pushes the core up CLOSING the contacts above it. These contact signal other hardware to actually disconnect the circuit. Such as a motor that disconnects all phases simultaneous.

Household breakers are similar, electromagnet trips a pin that keeps the contacts on.

  • I don't get it

  • can u type or commity ....... how it work plz

  • me too =[

  • I watched it and still have no idea how it works. It needs audio commentary.

  • Maybe it works by magic?

Really it is just a simple electromagnet. When the power gets too strong the electrical power running though the electromagnet becomes strong enough to pull apart and break the circuit.

FYI keep circuit breakers away from cell phones and computer hard drives because the magnet may damage or erase the memory
