  • You can't lose belly by doing ab exercises, any reasonable bodybuilder or athlete can tell you that. You might improve your ab muscles, but that as nothing to do with losing the fat. The only way is through cardiovascular training and an healthy diet. In fact, you could even get a six pack, by just cutting your body fat and not doing a single ab exercise. It doesn't matter how much Yoga you do, if you don't have an healthy and balanced diet, you're never going to loose the fat. Plain & Simple

    There is no way to loose fat fast and still be healthy. You could go on a starvation diet and do lots of cardio, but that is far from healthy and as soon you stop, it goes back to the way it was and worst. To be fit and remain that way is a lifestyle choice which comes with sacrifice and hard work, but the rewards are great. Anybody can be skinny for a time in their life, but few can be fit for a life time. If you're willing and dedicated, you too can change.

  • Lots of dumb comments i see. These are legit yoga poses, i did yoga with a professional for 3 years a while ago and i remember this. They are beginners moves. I am naturally thin anyway so i can't say if it helps lose fat but it is good for your internal organs if i remember correctly. And also, yoga did come from India.

    My instructor tried to get us to do yoga everyday but even if you do it once or twice a week you can notice a difference. Try the "sun salutation sequence" for the full body.

  • flat or not, it's genetic. The best abs exercise is not doing any abs exercise at all. The core gets plenty of workout from squat, deadlift, standing press, etc. Even when you're walking, your abs are being used. Work out the abs directly just make them that much bigger, which is not a good thing. If you want to see your abs, just get rid of the fat!

  • for everyone here that is complaining if u r training and not feeling any pain or effort than u r not burning any fats and u'r muscels aien't working enough but we gotta differ between a pain in muscles and the pain in the back of the knees there is a big difference

    The only way to do so is by eating right, and engaging in weight and strength training. Workout the largest muscle groups of the body, and use progressive resistance.

    Of course you have to eat right and do more yoga than that. And BTW it works the same muscle groups ...and just a matter of preference.

    :-) it's easier to show on someone else and talk while you not practicing. She is a teacher and she is teaching. I saw videos where instructor does yoga and talk in the same and goes out of breath. Besides when you do yoga you should breath properly all the time. You can't to it all in the same time.

    I am not a fan of yoga lol. People who tend to do yoga are usually very patient. Me..the other way around. But this yoga routine is not that bad :) It seems you are doing nothing. Which is GREAT.

  • Seriously people I have 1 very big tip to lose weight. Water. I swear to God Almighty water is so good for you it can help you lose weight. I had water over this weekend with no excersize and eating junky food (because I was upset because I was injured) and I lost 5 pounds. Water. Simple.

  • Make sure to cut out soda and sugary foods. Eat several small meals a day rather than 3 big ones (meaning eat when you're hungry, but don't over-do it). Don't take seconds when you eat.
