I didn't like being naked after my surgery especially in a cold operating room. Damn it was so cold and yes they always give you saltines or Graham crackers with a drink except I was not spaced out as I was awake for my last surgery.
i had knee arthroscopy surgery 2 years and a half ago and i woke up like 5 min before it ended and when i did, the anestisia guy gave me drugs to last me 2 hours sleeping on the bed...i understand the spaced out feeling lol...ive had too many times with all the morphine, tramadol and codeine at the er cause of my knee...when i was going to the car after the surgery, i was so lost lol...anyways they gave me crackers and apple juice, if i can remember, to eat and drink post surgery
the reason you didn't piss is because the drugs they gave you (opiates) most likely some type of soluable morphine kills the pain in your ankle but also kills the relationship your brain has with nerves and the command your brain sends to the nerves making it nearly impossible to pee. you can sit on the toilet for 3 hours trying but you just can't manage. i hear your voice too and the reason its so low and scratchy is because the opiates relax the larynx. you're beautiful btw, GL

Loool, that drowsy feeling is sooo nice after surgery. Might take my ankle plate out just to feel it again. But then again I dint piss for like 3 days :|
