Rightt.... so the first film is set in 2006

he second film is set in 2005 up to Micah's death in 2006 and then carries on from after he died.

The third film is set in 1988 when Kristi and Katie were younger, so you know how everything began and why everything is so fucked up in the first place.

So does that mean that the actual ending of it all is when Katie takes the baby from Kristi after she hauls Kristi's body at the camera at the end of the second film?

Theirs another ending, where she kills micah and then you here the her footsteps coming up the stairs and then she throws micah into the camera and the camera falls and you see micah on the floor and katie gets on her knees and starts sniffing him, you then she her look at the camera, move forward, smile and then the camera goes black, and then it says in the epilogue that mikahs body was found by the police and that katie's whereabouts remain unknow... :) just if you were wondering...

@aNoodleThing my guess is that they didnt want to use this ending because it would kill of any chance of a sequel, the cheesy ending where micha is thrown towards the camera guarentees a sequel. its a shame they got greedy, this is a great ending and maybe one day this film would be a cult classic. but its ruined by awful sequels. this is an example of how money making and sequels ruins a good film. the micha ending was awful, cheesy and the only scene with CGI

That ending fits Paranormal Activity 2 ending well. They shot three endings. The ending you saw the original ending but when it came time for the DVD they change it

Only scare I can think of I was afraid in this movie is when the woman gets dragged by a ghost out of bed into the hallway. That was kinda scary. Well I guess maybe PA3 will improve because theres only 1 person and a baby in the film.
