@emilybrooke44 It's a 6 Speed "H" Pattern shifter (6 forward one reverse) So far the games I've had it working with have been, Ferrari Challenge, Forza 2 & 3 NFS Shift GT5P and GTAcademy. I've not got GT5 yet but I know it works with that. RACE Pro and F1 2010 utilise the Flappy Paddle Shifter and Sequential Stick.
hey i need you to reply asap, if you know the answer; you know that steering wheel on PS3 called Rumble Steering Wheel from Argos, would you recommend buyimg it, it looks the same as this!
@UKOGjonboy Had a look and I'm sticking with NO! Don't touch it.
You'll be able to get the Logitech Driving Force EX for not much more than that, yesterday I saw a Logitech Driving Force Pro go on Ebay for £36 and that's all the wheel you'll ever need. The one from Argos I'm afraid is cheap for a reason and you will not be satisfied.
@UKOGjonboy thanks mate, really helped, i will consider it, but i might buy the Logitech Drivng Farce Wireless form Amazon for £23.31, what about that. thanks afor your help
@sahil07amz I have no idea about that new wireless one I'm afraid mate, usually if it's made by Logitech it's a reasuringly good thing, but I have a feeling that this time it may not be so. Best bet is to lok around and see if there's any reviews of it anywhere.
@Simracer100 I had a small issue with my H pattern shifter, but it was the Beta one and Fanatec replaced it within a week. Other than that no issues at all.
I had problem with the wheel layout in the game, I are using wheel layout 1, 1st side vibration off, switch gear up/down off, switch handbrake/clutch off, In advanced only handbrake in the category and non brake? Are you now about a link to xbox about the layout.
Thanks for great video. My problem Fanatec are my first wheel so I don't no anything about deadzone inside/outside.
BTW it it better to have the ABS on a lower setting start at 30% this will give you the ability to show where your wheels lock up. I set my setting at 70% combined with the dial on brake pad giving vibration at the wheel right where the tires start making noise
Um do I sense a bit of bias from the forza vs Ferrari challenge??despite turn 10 using information from mclarens F1 simulator LOL. Oh well it's your opinion. It's a wrong opinion LOL but an opinion nonetheless. Great reviews my wheel arrives Monday!!!!!!
Nope totally unbiassed, try out Ferrari Challenge and Forza3 with a Fanatec wheel yourself if you really don't believe me. FM3 is by far a more complete game, but when it comes to FFB Ferrari Challenge has got it nailed, T10 and PD could learn a lot from Eutechnyx's FFB
I just got to try out the game post-patch. The FFB seems quite a bit stronger (on MS wheel); my arms got tired during a tune session. Didn't notice a change in the rumble effects.
interesting comparison, but if I'm not mistaken, the PS3 uses a different communication protocol than the xbox 360 (to the wheel). Could you do a comparison between 2 racing games on the 360?
Thanks, I did do a review a while ago, (I think it's Part 4) with RACE Pro. What I was showing with this vid is that the lack of rumble isn't to do with the wheel, it's the game and the way the FFB/Rumble is programmed.
is the shifter like a 5 speed trans. how many gears does it have. what games will it work with..

Cool! thanks, I'll take a look. I take it the recent update patch for FM3 didn't change anything.
