i believe the movie is just an alternate retalling of what happended in the series but with new scenes

Can't believe this hasn't been subbed yet... has it even come to the Japanese DVD market by now? It's been 4 months since the November debut. As an irrelevant yard stick from the US market, it took District 9 4 months (August to December).
