eBay and Paypal are probably the biggest life-ruining companies that I know of. I just signed up on Bonanzle and it is AWESOME. Best thing is...it's COMPLETELY free, until you make a sell. The fee for up to $50 is just $1..yes..just a BUCK! That's IT. They will transfer ALL your listings and feedback from eBay...makes it SO easy..they even sync with Craigslist. I strongly suggest for everyone to try it out because it's free...can't lose at ALL.

The only ones who make money on eBay are the rip off people. PayPal is the middleman between you and your bank to tell you how you can get your money. It's doesn't matter what their policy is and whether you abide by any terms. What matters is what PayPal wants and how PayPal works.

The biggest problems about eBay and PayPal is that anyone can open up an account, including scammers. With a real merchant account, only those who are registered for their business can open that account. I'm thinking about doing my own website which is much better than eBay. When you sell on eBay, you don't have full control of your own businees, but you do with your own website.

YEAH, I AGREE! These pricks are RIP OFFS! Tired of being charged TONS of money to sell an item. SHIT! It typically cost me 15 percent in fees. Ebay charges somewhere around 8 percent. example, a$200 item I sell, typically cost me $15 of Ebay fees, SHIT! But thats NOT all! Paypal would charge me almost another $15 for their SHIT fees! And on top of all that, the stingy buyers who dont want to give me more than $200 for a set of almost new rims/tires that cost me $900 when I got them.

After I had to take paypal I stopped using ebay, I was a power seller for a year so they lost good money from me leaving. People will buy something then try to get there money back, if your on vacation and dont reply to paypal, your money and item are lost, seller looses. who wants to watch your email every moment in fear of a scam artist using paypal as there backer.

Paypal offering guarantee up to $20.000 but there are some small words (condition applies) no one reading what it says. Actually paypal says no guarantee to recover your money! If they can not charge seller they will not pay anything. I bought a fucken coin and never get and opened dispute through paypal. Lets make it short I got nothing from the seller (it was insured) but seller was scammer and paypal made decision= SORRY.

I'm not selling much these days though because not only the Paypal but also the feedback. People buy, don't pay, I can't even give them neg feedback. What the hell is that idea? Getting fees back from Ebay for unpayed items is a time consuming pain.

Many ebayers that are STILL buying and selling on EBAY are now ALSO selling & buying on Bonanzle, atomic mall, etsy,Ioffer and many others where you can transfer your EBAY feedback ratings and NO PAYPAL REQUIRED and little or NO FEES! Ebay ALSO deletes any post as fast as they're being posted in the community forums. I have printed out pages of many post from ebayers before ebay removed them.

Ebid, iOffer, Craigslist, OOdle are all better than Ebay. Moneybookers and Google Checkout are better than Paypal when comes to leveled playing field for both sellers and buyers. Avoid Paypal like a plague if you are seller!!! Selling using Paypal, 50/50 you will loose everything!
