I LOVE ANTM. I tried watching CNTM, BNTM and AuTM; and I still say that ANTM is the BEST. It's just so gorgeously entertaining and exciting. The others lack a certain ooomph and jazz.

Who cares who wins this stupid contest? The only winner that had a career in entertainment (not modeling mind you) is eva. Who is by far and away the most beautiful of all the winners.

who cares about their career? it's the reality show that's fun to watch.

But what makes a competition fun to watch is when there is a prize to be won. These girls don't become "top models" after the show. And it is irrelevant. If a girl wants to become a model, she goes to a modeling agency and try to get representation. They don't have to be sequestered with 20 other girls and get into food fights and run obstacle courses. I actually used to like the show, but now it looks phoney and the girls aren't half as good looking or interesting as earlier seasons.

It became popular and then the show became more on the drama part. I dont know if girls in fashion do photoshoots on "Running from the Fashion Witch". The show is entertaining but some eliminations are based on the drama part of the series.

i disagree about the prize. People watching is an ancient pass time (however ephemeral). And something as subversively edited as ANTM (Melrose as bitch, Granola Bar girl as a loon...etc..etc) makes it worth a watch.
