I'm presuming this was recorded on a device not dissimilar to an iPhone whereby the camera breaks the image being recorded into minute parts and as such, it seems that the strings are vibrating wildly when in actual fact, they aren't. Just technology playing tricks on one's eyes.

Well I'm only using the iPhone as an example as there was a video I had seen which placed the phone on the inside of a classical guitar to demonstrate the effect. Can't find the link but it is quite brilliant to see. Really looks like the instrument is dancing with the music.
