@ dawgsezwuf In also in some cases, people can draw the face instantly with there mind But that requires years and years of practice.. although, usually its memorization.some books tell that everything starts as a circle, but you can really do what u want. You dont have to follow guidelines, its only just to help you improve. i ll bet you, that in time. you wont even need circles to draw a face.

@dawnofworld Yes, its just a matter of comfort. Its just to split things up so its easier to start with. And it is only a common technique, you can draw any way you like! In example i allways start with an egg shape.

wacom tablets are very easy to use almost like a regular pen and paper

Except you don't get that same friction that you get on paper so it takes a few days to get used to.

How long did it take you to get so comfortable with the drawing tablet? I've only had mine less than a week but it isn't getting any easier to use... Maybe I need to change some settings. Did you have to mess with the settings on yours, or did you just practice with the default setup?

I'm still not really comfortable with the tablet. You may notice that most of the lines I make are made up of many tiny strokes... On paper I have clean single strokes. I just use default settings though. I'm just assuming that with practice it'll get easier cuz that's the case with everything. :)

Ah. Thank you! I typically only use ink when I draw and I make clean single strokes, too!  I never have gotten the sketchy method that many people use with graphite that you demonstrate in this video. How long have you been using the Wacom? Now you have me scared that I will never get comfortable with it! ^_^
