  • im crying as i type this coz i never have a good christmas coz my family ruin it and my mom and gandma are allready started arguing ive only been up for about 40minutes! and allready it doesent feel like christmas i hate my life.

  • Joy and Hope. May God, The Holy Father and Holy Spirit bring Peace and Joy to all who see this on our planet Earth and to our universe. Pass this on. Jesus is the reason! From Whudt.

  • Becuase of the movie, you completely forget this can be counted as a Christmas song.

  • @ExpirementStitch well the movie does begin during Christmas..

  • What a beautiful line is that. If I cannot bring you comfort, at least I bring you hope.

And when all else is done - is there anything worth more? Gives me chills in my soul.

  • @Anntelope Hope? I thought it was "home".

  • @Lizfan2 Hi Liz - I went and checked for the lyrics and guess what? I found it written both ways - some said

"home" and some said "hope." I think hope makes more sense but whatever - it's a great song. That's

    the main thing.

  • On the knees of a sergeant major. Made of parts of wood, with the wind in your hair. Silver bells on a stolen reindeer, As we race to the castle over there.

  • Some songs capture your life for that moment in time. Thank you Wendy and Lisa for stepping outside of yourselves and into the universal. This will always mean something to me.

  • I love this song too,it does make you happy...

  • For the longest time I didn't know these gals were Prince's band in the 80s.

  • Pitalla, I do believe the male voice is Seal.

  • Kind of a stupid movie but this is an Amazingly Beautiful song which is the only reason I watched the movie in the first place! It's the kind of song that make you feel good and happy about life, I don't know why, but it does bring really happy memories!

  • "What do you think Mother Theresa?"......."I don't know, just gimme some soup!".....lol

  • Is that David Bowie singing as well? This song rocks!

  • @Pitalla that is NOT david bowie... his voice is unmistakable and very recognizable .

  • If you listen carefully there are childrin singing in the background!!! IM ONE OF THEM!!!

  • @steezeballs1and2 Ha ha ha! You liar, your profile says you are 19 years old. Funny joke though

  • I always get goose bumps and cry no matter what version of this I hear! Let the sweet spirt the follows this song live and touch many.

  • I dedicate this song to my precious family & friends who have helped me through this rather difficult year. I will treasure you always...Thank you for always being there for me...God Bless all of you...May the year of 2011 bring peace and happiness throughout the years <3 <3 <3...I love you always my friends who have and will always be my family forever ...

  • I loved this movie,I would rewind and rewind the beginning and the very end just to hear this song

Beautiful song. makes me feel like a child again

  • @Am0niqu3 Me too, this song (and movie) is one of my best childhood memories. Dont you wish all of us who love this movie could get together and watch the film!?

  • The only other Christmas song I've heard that compares is David Bowie & Bing Crosby's duet "Little Drummer boy". Tori does a nice live version of that song as well, I recommend both.

  • Awesome movie. My favourite Christmas song. But please, I must ask you all. If someone ever asks you to cooperate with their duplication investigation.....yes, I said "duplication investigation"....or as it is sometimes known as..."DUPING!!!".....please...for god's sake...take it seriously.

  • number 1 top christmas song gd film 2 so many memories from when i was little

  • OMG i whos in the choir on the Movie it brige back mimorise it whos fun to see wendy melvoin sing whit the choir it whos like magic

  • early i know, fab song good luck for the rest of the year posted 02 july 2010

  • @903davesharonpoky thank you for being an even bigger turd for making such a statement. I guess you did not realize the number of comments before you were making compliments to this song...ass!

  • This movie was just a mess. It's got that nice 80s/early 90s vibe but unfortunately the movie itself is horrible. They should've kept the Toy factory idea and just made it into a modern day Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

  • @JBHutto -- I think the vibe comes from the music. I liked the soundtrack for the film but the movie, even as a kid, I didn't quite understand. I wouldn't say it's a complete terrible movie, just not one I'd flip to and watch.

  • @JBHutto kinda copying =/ i liked it, its strange :)

  • This is one of my favorite christmas songs that was written specifically for a movie/show.

The other being that christmas time is here song from charlie brown christmas.

But good for anytime of year, honestly.

  • Thank you for uploading this.

  • This is a beautiful video that you put together here. Happy New Year to You and Your Family 2010!!!

  • is that SEAL IN THERE???

  • sorry meant to write *plays song again* lol

    which im doing so...again

  • theres one video of this song that shows the guy singing the solo starting at 2:45 and i just got to say, he should of been in the movie, i mean he just showcases the complete vibe of the movie perfectly.

LOVE THE SONG! Plan to play it the whole time my family is together on Christams Eve. Maybe they will hear the actual meaning to the song...Sigh, if thats not wishful thinking I dont know what is. (shrugs) Oh well! (plays somg again)

  • @CullenFamilyMember that guy is Seal.

  • Incredible song. Probably the most touching "holiday" song I know of. Genius.

  • great song, not sure why ??? :) not you usual taste but makes e happy! so does the film

  • is it weird to say this song has an intense amount of emotional impact? I think not.

  • Love the film and the soundtrack, both provide a strange mix of joy and sorrow

  • @Owdene Exactly how I feel with this song. I believe we always feel as time goes by we lose something or leave something behind. Let's hope what comes next in everyone's life is a bit better.

  • This song gives me chills, especially this version.. I haven't heard the others.

  • Can anyone post the song "Let Joy And Innocence Prevail" from the movie "Toys"?

  • i Love this song reminds me when a was a child

    Feel good -o-

  • reminds me of when I was a kid, too :) I can remember how happy Christmas time used to make me. I forget sometimes

  • @Cyborgns Me too, it's a sad feeling for some reason.

  • @moguy200979 For better times gone by? Nevertheless, Happy Christmas.

  • reminds me of my baby boy! private joke :L
