i have exactly the same camera but I have question does your camera gets hot if you use the camera for like 30 minutes non stop, like taking a video or pictures for straight 20-30 mins??
No.but Are you talking about the camera its self or the battery? The battery gets warm, but the camera never has gotten hot. Which part of your camera gets hot?
I'm talking about the battery inside the camera and when you use it continuously it's getting hot or warm. Like on the battery side of the camera does it get hot or warm if you use it continuously? because mine gets warm or even hot if I use it continuously for like 20-30 mins max, I dont know if it's normal, I contacted canon and they said it's normal when it gets warm. Can you try it yourself?
thanks, and I hope it is normal... but other than the battery issue this camera is awesome, you know what when you print the picture from this camera it's so crystal clear picture =).

yeah i'll try it my self and let you know. But im pretty sure its just normal for the battery to get warm.

yeah. ok so i tried it and the battery does get warm but not "hot". its just normal. Hope this helped and good luck :)
