What happens at 0:42? Even when the British leaders go to Europe, a joke is never far away, the narrator says, and then we see ... what exactly? A woman throwing a glass of water at someone?
It was produced for something called "Ha-Ha", the opening credits say. Some sort of variety show, probably? Anyone Dutch and more than 45 years old who remembers anything about a show called "Ha-Ha"?
It's from a variety show Leisbeth List made for Dutch TV called Leisbeth, airing on KRO on 18 Jan 1973. Directed by Tineke Roeffen it was songs sung by Leibeth List interspersed with 4 short films featuring with Jacques Brel, Harry Bär, Ton van Duinhoven and Monty Python. The Python section was repeated in a retrospective on List in 2002, De Koffer Van... Liesbeth List which aired on AVRO on the 20 Aug 2002. The entire 1973 show was released as part of a 5-DVD set of List's work on 10 Nov 2008.

Funny to see Cleese and Idle doing the Custard Pie sketch, even though they're too tall for the joke to work properly.

That's Liesbeth List actually.

The "Ha-Ha" is with 99% certainty merely some sort of intertitle from the dvd. It's just the sound of laughter. There was no show of that name.

Wow, looks like I'm first!
