Look Im a diehard Bulls fan and I got a little emotional watching this (go ahead and make fun of me I don't care). 2006-07 was exciting as the Bulls got back to NBA Elite. They were a game or two away from being the 2 seed which would have been a trip to the FINALS (since Cavs made it as a 2). Then at start if 2007-08 season it went all sucky again. We do have D-Rose now, who will be a sure top 4 player soon but he needs help for the Bulls to be elite again.

Yeah it was a good trade...noc is a great player but is on a pretty big contract. I think the main reason why they traded him is more for cap relief in 2010. Had they waited any longer no1 would have taken his contract. Plus Salmons and Miller are pretty good and fill our needs.
I think it was a good move because they got 2 key players in return and cleared up cap space. Nocioni gave us intensity but also took alot of dumb shots that costed us. I will never forget his pump fake with .7 seconds left and we lost b/c of that.

Continuing w/my previous post. Alongside Rose we just need a token 3 point shooter that can play a lil D. Once Kirk and Gordon are gone we can get a back-up pg for cheaper. Our 3 spot is set w/Luol and Noc. That leaves legit 4 or 5 man in the post to fill our roster.
I must say I was pissed b4 that we didn't pull the trigger to get Garnett or Gasol.

i say trade luol for someone else. i'm not saying he's a bad player, but he's not a dominant player and he never will be. they need someone (other than rose) who will be willing to put their physical well-being on the line to win a game, and nobody on this team looks like they're willing to do that except rose and sometimes nocioni.

they played like crap this year because they didnt play as a team in the begining and it was most likly caused by ben gorden and loul deng not signing extended contracts because at the end of the season they started getting things back together. i think that we could nake it this year as long as they all work as a team and dont be selfish fools because they want more money

i have a question. would you give up kirk hinrich and/or, ben gordon and/or, loul deng for kobe bryant? why or why not? i would because kobe is a compilation of all three. he can score, play defense and get players the ball. after you get him and get rid of those three, you can start to build the team around kobe. that is what i would do.

do you know why they fired skiles ? i don't know if they don't remember but thanks to him, the bulls made in 2006-2007 their best record since the ultimate jordan's title(3rd in central division, 49-33, and they have been eliminated in the 2nd round but swept the 2006 champ)...

and thanks to him, the players lost confidence because they weren't played. how often did u see thabo sefelosha or tyrus thomas play? in the start of the season, how often did u see the 9th pick joakim noah play? and after jim boylan took over, they were better than skiles gave them credit for. that's why they fired skiles. he wasn't giving anyone a chance to play or make mistakes. he wanted them to be perfect players but he needed a reality check. there is no such thing as a perfect player.

hey although the bulls are not in the playoffs for now. i would continue to be bulls for life. I love this team i know they can make it to the playoffs this year, and in my opinion go against Detroit the first round where they have a better chance to go to the second round. I think with the firing of Skiles, they are a lot more focused, and some guys are starting to get their roles defined. Thabo Sefolosha should be a starter in 2008-2009, or hell, by the end of this year. He gives the Bulls the height in the backcourt they lack, and is a great defender. Plus, he can handle the ball.

Knowing the chi, they're gonna get bak on track and finish w/ other .500%+ season. They're capable of making the Conference finals. I dont think sacking skiles on the Eve was the smartest move, but so far boylans 2-0. nice vid btw
