Mitch, you can smooth the edges of cliffs with the 'smooth terrain' option. That way, it will have a smooth side so guests and crap could get up. It will also fix the yellow crap if you smooth it there :D

I'm gonna help ya out - if the paths turn yellow it means guests can't walk on them because they're too steep. To solve this just smooth or flatten the ground where the paths are yellow. :) Also, use the 'flatten terrain' tool to make cliffs the height you want. Like if you've got a cliff and one that's a bit higher right next to it, then use the 'flatten terrain' tool one the cliff who's height you prefer, and drag it over the other one to make the height the same :)
