acctually there is max damage gold q8 V-spear's, go to Umbral grotto and you'll see people selling them, ask to see them and they will show u, also do a little search on guru(cant leave links) and u'll see a q8 max damage....they sell for 100K+200ecto's.

It stands to reason that, because every other god damn item in the game can drop max R8, so can VSs. Doesn't happen with R7 anymore, though.

U r wrong. It only drops on a high end elite chest , therefore even in NM weap reqs of those exclusive skins are ALWAYS R9-13 , just like Eternal Blade fyi. Feel free to show an screenshot or more than 3 or 4 sell posts on guru or whatever.
