  • Do you have to have the distortion on?

  • ugh... why use distortion.... when practicing/teaching you shouldn't use it IMO.

other than that lesson is pretty good

  • Every body teaches a new way to finger it! So confusing!!

  • What is a key? What is a c major?? i still don't get this scale stuff.

  • @itiswhatitisvato if you dont get this stuff, then go back and review ur chords and progressions more.....

  • thanks... for the tutorial. im now moving up to 2nd pattern.. i wrote a tab for this. for those who have a difficulty in following the instruction. send me a message in my account.. :)

  • thanks man learned all of these in about half an hour :D

  • @starznsparklez

Dont think of it as you need to learn all these scales at once .Know what the notes are in each key and you can make you own scales up .its better for learning them ...

  • @tromollo thanks for the advice

  • 2:00 he's listening to his ipod

  • @dormbasedbusiness its not an ipod, its a mic you clip onto your shirt.

  • I'm not trying to be mean up maybe it would be allot easier if he just playing really slow once instead of talking so much and playing medium slow

  • fuck you and your banjo

  • There are 7 Position, 7 Notes. What a waste of time, what happened to a G Mixolydian ie , a C Major scale in the 5th position you fool???!!!! Explain things properly to people who watch these videos and want to learn guitar. There is only one scale. All music is based from this. Not some out of no where position a student cannot see any relevance to!

  • @wallace6969

Well, why not make a video explaining this to us better since you know what you're talking about?

  • Helped Me alot really =D* Thanx =]

  • hey, can you guys give me some tips how to memorize all the scale? please. thank you

  • play them over and over again, and improvise by changing position

  • Improvise two of the scales at a time. Gradually add the other shapes to your improvising

  • @RobDZeppelin thanks so much! :]

  • hey man in there any chance you can email me the tab for this? i cant make it out its too blurry ever with my glasses on lol, i would be grateful if you could, if you private message me i will give you my email address! thanks bro

  • Are the patterns the same for every key? And you just move the whole thing up or down the fret board depending on the key?

  • I do the same question, please

  • @801332: Yep!! you got it - the shapes are all the same for all the major keys(except when you hit the nut "open strings", that's why he says the lowest position for C starts at the 3rd fret even though the open 6th string "E" is certainly in C major scale)

oh.. now I see you posted this 8 months ago.. so I might as well just shaddup.. ha!

  • Look at the Major scale in modes. It is so much easier to see a logical pattern this way.
