  • i love listeing to her but im always afraid other listeners will make fun of her ;_;

  • I just discovered Diane's show this year and immediately thought she was 100 years old. Had no idea what she has been through! Diane, I love your show and wish you a complete recovery. You are an inspiration and a silver fox, to boot!

  • I'm a 17 teen year old guy, i have stuttering problems and my parents have me listen to the show when she's on sometimes. She really gives me hope that i can get over my stutter. She's inspiring to me. Everyone should appreciate her, wonderful women, continue to do what you do Diane Rehm!

  • I'd do her

  • Thank you for your information. I'm 69 and have been diagnosed with SD but haven't started the botox shots yet. I read some of the comments below and it's amazing that people never change. The bullies on the playground yesterday are still bullying today. They should all have the pleasure of having this complication. Then MAYBE, just maybe, they would develope some compassion.

  • She is a woman in her 70's. That she can continue to produce such a wonderful radio show is a credit to her stamina and intellect.

  • @alfredklek

    Stamina? The women is MIA from her own show most of the time. Intellect? Rehm misidentifies people she is speaking with, mispronounces words and names, and continues to cling to her erroneous information even after being corrected on air.

  • I had NO idea. I actually thought she was a woman in her 80's. This is the first time I've ever seen her. Wow.

  • I've been battling focal-mandibular dystonia since 2004. I teach and it's extremely difficult to communicate with my mouth twisting and my voice compromised. Botox hasn't helped as yet, as it's difficult to locate the right muscles. I take clonazepam and trihexyphenidyl, but try to keep them at low dosages. When will this program be aired in San Francisco? I can't get the Arizona NPR feed to work and want to hear more. I'm looking forward to your book Ms. Rehm.

  • Thank you Diane for enlightening us about S.D & sharing your experience, i'm a sufferer myself & it's good to know i'm not alone. And thank you NSDA!!
