  • Fantastic show!!!!!!!!! great format, great writing. love you all. keep it up.

  • Not complaining, just curious... Why isn't t his available in HD?

  • @sliver37 The cost of shooting, editing and uploading in HD is too high.

  • @conorucd They already shoot in HD, and This Week in Tech is uploaded in HD as a beta currently.

  • @t2t2t do they shoot and edit this in HD? I know they are trial running TWiT but that is their main show. They would have to wait until the new workflow/website is done before HD is even thought of for other shows.

  • @conorucd Not sure about the show (you'd probably want to ask OMGchad on twitter) but I don't see a reason why they wouldn't record in HD for all shows.

  • @t2t2t Cost, plus they are struggling at the moment to upload things on time in SD because of cachefly or whoever it was that stopped providing uploads for a lot of the places they need to upload too. HD would be nice but the video quality does not take away from the show. Clearer than blackwater imo.

  • @conorucd Weirdly I think they might have the new encoding solution working already because yesterday when I went to watch TNT like 2½ hours after broadcast the video was already up (And this is on twit.tv, so checking the box that says video is up is a manual task). Also in RSS feeds they have cut down on the amount of different video/bitrate versions.

  • @t2t2t I think that might be one of the contractors patch work, I cant remember his name but he was on this week in twit with leo, lisa and alex discussing the whole thing. The main solution could not be done yet as they were talking a big overarching final proper solution that may need more external programmers to get done.

  • Much better (except for the skit).

  • I think Game On is the most fun and informative Gaming show on the internet. It also helps that they score awesome interviews with people from the industry. Last week's Curt Schilling was full of win.

I only watch Game On, Destructoid and New Challenger/Bytejackr for my gaming info and reviews. The rest just bore me to death.

  • Finally Lavs!

  • Is that ad for Veronica uploaded somewhere?

  • First all round good episode, hopefully the first of many. Just need to get rid of the brushwood fireball and veronica machine gun intro and would have been nie perfect.

  • OMG! Liam O'Brien played Gaara from Naruto!

  • Who is the chick in the bikini? V.B.Kates?

  • LIAM O'BRIEN USES A BLUE YETI TOO

  • love this show so glad they brought this to the twit network

  • brian's mic doesn't sound right

  • The banter between the hosts doesn't work, nor do the skits. Please tone down the "silly", leave that for the amateurs at Rev3. Don't have a guy read you stuff from a computer screen, breaks the flow. Try to improve the show's graphics, and put some more textual information on-screen during the interview bits. Try to show game footage that illustrates what you're talking about in regards to the game. Showing trailer footage while you go on about specific game features doesn't work for the viewer

  • @godthisisannoying the banter doesn't work? so... we shouldn't talk to one another? -V

  • @earlysound Well, I see how you could have misinterpreted that. What I meant wasn't that any conversation would be unfit for the show, in hindsight I should have made it clear I only meant the silly banter, or when you go off on a tangent (or totally unrelated topic/personal story). This isn't the late TWiF, and I'm not looking for another AotS kinda thing. So... yeah, more info and commentary, less giggles.

  • @earlysound

Trolls gonna troll VB. Pay this troll no mind. The "banter" or however he describes it works for me. You did great.

  • @FRGTNDRKNSS Funny that you'd call me a troll just because I expressed dislike of something. Youtube comments have a character limit, so there's a limit to how verbose I can be short of posting a string of comments, which I usually find in rather poor taste for people who're parsing through the comment section. What would you have me do, though, write out the timestamps of the bits I found in poor taste, pointless or just too 1990's tv game show to work nowadays? "A-Ok" feedback helps nothing.
