i love acela i road on one about a year ago got up to around 140MPH around kingston great and smooth ride gota love amtrak

Nice! Kingston's great, it's really cool to watch the Acelas in the winter from the pedestrian overpass because you can see them kicking up snow for miles.

I usually dont need the AC on the acelas, cause im usually pretty comfy in the cab

i got a couple questions for you guys's.

1. is it easy sticking to a passenger timetable?

2. wages?

Yeah, its easy enough i guess, i mean of course they're are always some problems with track work, or train traffic, but if we are going smoothly our timetables are designed perfectly.

My wages arent very good because i'm not on full payroll...yet. Im still pretty young, my uncle got me the Job for the Acelas and i love it!

Well easier it may be, but my job is alot better then a freight operators, for instance we have air conditioning we go upwards of 140 mph, and our trains are smooth and sleek.

thats true. you mean frieght locos dont have air conditioning. i thought the comfort cabs have them

when I operate the regionals, sometimes it takes a lil bit of time for the AC to work on the AEM7's
