With all the money given to so called "foreign aid" by every Western nation, why in Gods name are there still poor people! Why are there still people starving by the millions, going without water or homes? Obviously somebody is receiving all this money but it aint poor people! Foreign aide has been proven to only increase destitution, starvation, and oppression. Jesse is right, to say end foreign aide including the overseas bases which are essentially welfare in that they provide less incentive for countries hosting our bases to build their own military.

If government is going to do welfare, let it be done at the state level. California is a bad example but maybe there is some kind of system that's plausible. At least when it's done at the state level the mistakes aren't throughout the nation. Having said that, if fractional reserve banking and the Federal Reserve didn't exist then there probably wouldn't be a need for welfare since there would be no depression. Mike Maloney does a good job of explaining it.
