@TurkWith2Legs the art is well done, thats it. the dialogue couldnt be understood even if i spent 5 years in harlem. The story line was okay untill I watched afro get his head impaled and then come back to life.

it takes more than fight scenes to make a great anime, and thats all these 2 movies are.

No one will watch afro samurai in 10 years.  thats the test of a truely kickass anime.

Samuel L. Jackson won't be Afro in the live action version that's in the idea process (announced it, now just coming up with ideas for it). He said he would rather perform as Afro's father, and wants to leave the role to a younger actor. Which I think has potential. But who? Will Smith: Maybe. 50 Cent: Has the attitude for it, and when he glares, he looks just as bad ass.
