@djclel I've been riding for 4 years, Had 2 accidents in that time, One not my fault, the other was a Major one that involved a 70mph impact with a car turning infront of me and 4 days in hospital, In both those crashes my Helmet sustained no damage (Xrays to prove it), Which means my Helmet never hit the ground or any other surface. A helmet does not automatically save your life. In Some cases a Back protector is MORE important then a Lid

No one knows when they will be involved in a collision, or what type of collision they will be involved in when that time comes. Something tells me that there are a number of individuals who wished to God they had worn a helmet the second before their skull met the asphalt.
