  • Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (San Fierro) Fifth Forth Bridge

  • I don't see any ties under the rails. If they're not needed, then why do we have them on American railroads?

  • What does the speed sign at 2:03 where it says 20/50 mean?

  • @keninblack 20MPH For freight trains 50MPH for passenger trains

  • @poolieboy07 Cheers.

  • Quick to twenty.

  • class 158 im guessing by the train number

  • Also, what would you get if the siganl was other than green?

  • what is the purpose of the bell when approaching the signals?

  • @hoggerdave

its called aws, when the signal is green, the bell sounds and the driver does not have to respond, but if the signal is at caution,a different horn sounds and the driver has to push a button within 3 seconds or the brakes apply.

  • The Forth Bridge is featured in The Northern Lights from video125.co.uk except it is filmed from an HST all the way from Edinburgh to Aberdeen. Includes commentary, runpasts, interior cab shots, aerial views and of course better quality on DVD.

  • I love this video so much! Crossed the bridge hundreds of times but never seen this perspective before! Looking forward to the new bridge being finished!

  • And how would you get a taxi on the rail way? and if it was it would be rum-belling all over the place AND how come you're the same height as the train that went past?

  • @Samuelmcwhinnie he's in the ENGINE cab of the train, not a taxi cab!!!

  • @Samuelmcwhinnie lol your dumbness has made my day. lol

  • How on earth did you get a cab ride? They don't usually let members of the public in driving cabs.

  • @JoeGJ1984 I was on a training course

  • Great video. Living in France I don't get to see the old girl much these days though years ago I used to cross it twice every day travelling between Dunfermline and Edinburgh. And then for 6 months I worked between the 2 bridges in N Queensferry. What a view!

No doubt about it. The most beautiful bridge in the world. It deserves to be better known.

Grossly over-engineered by modern standards of course, but goddam that great beast looming over the Firth makes a hell of a statement.
