I saw this movie, thinking that it was going to be like, a little thing, I wouldn't remember later in life. But this movie made an huge impression on me! It's so touching, and I didn't know that cyberbullying went that far. Recommed it to my teacher, 'cause I know some of the girls in my class cyberbully:)
Emily Osment is such a great actress! I really loved this movie. It has such a great message. For everyone out there who is being bullied, stand up for your self. I did and it really helps!
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD totally giving this a like :DDD:D:D:D:D:.
these cry baby bitches need to man up and get a life, and for anyone who's been cyber bullied heres this: if u had a life and didnt get on the computer in the first place it wouldnt have happened, fucking idiots, its ur own fault u got cyber bullied so stfu
This movie really had an impact on me. I've been where she is, and it is a dark, cold place. Some girls at school posted horrible things to me on my wall and harassed me at school for weeks. I became depressed, blaming both myself and my family; I hated god and the world in its entirety. Eventually I decided that enough is enough and swallowed an entire bottle of aspirin. With the feeling of life leaving me I crawled up the stairs, opened the door, get on the floor everybody walk the dinosaur.
This seriously changed me. I have bullied so many people before this, Not anymore. This is so meaningful to me. It made me cry. I love, love, loved it. There needs to be more movies like this. <33
"cyberbullying" is the biggest load of shit i have ever heard. i mean what the fuck. this character is a attractive, smart and privalidged young lady who actually has the luxury of a computer. she can go to school and has a family that loves her and has a huge house. but what does she try to do? pussy out like a selfish shit by killing herself. the internet is just like the real world, not everyone is gonna be nice. deal with it.LOGOUT
@XrossFire89 Which isn't even the internet's fault. High school rumours have existed before the internet thing. And they'll never end. Best you can do is not be a bitch and deal with it.
@spior It's not the Internets fault obviously, it's the people on it; sicko, slanderers and what not. My point is parents should know what is going on while their kids are on it. If they are going to neglect them like Jessi Slaughter if you've heard of her, the best thing to do is shut it down. But as for high school rumors, you are totally right they've always existed and just deal with it.
@XrossFire89 Haha Jessi Slaughter. Good times. Well, to tell you the truth, even if their parents do keep them off of some sites, that will just increase their desire to go to those sites. Mainly becuse a 12 year old's brain is all fuck da police.
And as far as I saw from the trailer (haven't seen the whole movie) she killer herself because of those rumours so the "sicko slanderers" aren't even involved.
@spior Ok, you do have a point there. As for the movie, No she just tried to because of all the slander. All she does is go to a support group and deals with it at the end. I was bored and surfing on Netflix one day. Came across this shit speckled gem and had to watch in laughter. I skipped to the end, not worth it. They make a movie about anything these days.
This movies comes to show that if you have such feelings like girls, don't go on the internet making videos, chatting, commenting and anything else that will get you hurt. Because you are stupid for doing that and if you cut yourself because you keep going back to get hurt, then you deserve to die. Parents shouldn't be letting stupid girls go on the internet in the first place. Internet is where people show their most evil side so it's not for weakling little girls to be at.
Stupid people. if you are so hurt with words thats just on the internet, why do you even keep going back to the internet to read these things. Unless you love it and really want to get hurt and cut yourself, go ahead. If not then you are just plain stupid. Wake up to reality and do something with your life instead of wasting it on the internet. And stupid parents shouldn't be letting kids on the internet if thats happening anyway. Get lost stupid kids and do something better with your lives.
I've been bullied online more than enough...I'm afraid that i'll be treated differently at school, that my friends would hate me about what they said but they stood up for me and I couldn't have better friends <3 Thumbs up if you have friends like that
Just finished watching the movie. It was brilliant. Even though it's obvious that not everybody is affected the same way and just as intensly as the main character portrays it, the movie still makes a valid point. Kudos to the ones who made this movie happen. More people should watch it.
Don't know how many times a I've been called out, name called, criticized, or screwed with on the internet. It's strange how most people are fine with normal social interaction in real life but can't handle it online (and vice versa).
this movie was quite an eye-opener for me into what cyberbullying really is all about because I was homeschooled all my life and I was never a victim of this awful crime (yeah, I called it a crime. it should be considered one). now I truly know what people go through all the time and it's just totally awful. our words do have huge impact and we should all be careful. I know that more than ever now.
I hate when people say things about this dildo like "nobody would let them shove it up that far". Are you kidding me? I was a victim. I was terrified. I did nothing to stop it. This dildo couldn't be more devastating. There are people out there who are too scared to stand up for themselves or try and stop it. That is what this dildo is about.
this movie is relatable. i've been bullied online AND in real life. i was watching the premire over the summer and i was shocked how realistic this is. Emily did a great job of portraying what a victim goes though when they get bullied or harassed. i'm glad someone decided to make a movie that's real, raw and relatable.
Wow what a powerful movie I mean I really got the message. I really hope from the bottom of my heart that nobody has to go through what Taylor went through. It's terrible, I hate to think that there are people out their who have the guts to be so cruel. I hope that this movie changed the way some people see others and themselves.
@xoxAshh137 Seriously?! People over reacted? Really? You have no effing idea what it's like to want to kill your self. How you feel like you don't have any reason to live any more. So Shut the Fuck Up until you have gone through what millions of people go through. I don't care if she is acting. Emily did an amazing job capturing what the feelings are. So Just eff off. Kaythanks Bye.
everyone overreacted completely in this movie... its like if a grandma made a movie about what she thinks happens on the internet.. so unrealistic, till the ending.
Watching this movie changed the way I thought about everything. Seeing Taylor like that--just for sharing her opinion in health class, and not sharing her computer with her brother--is just scary. I realized that this kind of stuff happens all the time. I thought it was just me (I was bullied like this once). The songs also spoke to me. I cried through the part when she was making the video before she was about to overdose herself and never stopped.
Everyone who is suing this movie is too dramatic, shut the fuck up, ok? In real life people DO get bullied online, and my best friend almost killed herself because of it. I almost killed myself because of me getting bullied for my legs. But we both watched this movie and we both were shocked at how realistic it was
This movie really changed my life. I watched it one night when i was bored and cried through the whole thing. I creied because i have been in her shoes before, and because i have been a bully. When i saw how she reacted to the bullying, it really made me think about what i have done. I know how bad and guilty i would feel if someone had tried to commit suicide because of me bullying them. I am 15 years old and i know i will never bully anyone after watching this movie.
@sexynelly444 maybe bullied but not cyberbullied. If they killthemselves from someone being a dick on the Internet then they need to quit being such a pussy and get over it. Not everybody likes them; put your ego away and learn.
I honestly thought this movie was horrible. Yes I understand that cyberbulling is a real thing and that it really gets to people, but the message of this movie was so off. All it taught kids to do was to run to someone for help and that kids in high school can be extremely mean. It was so unrealistic the way they handled this and it just makes me sad that kids are raised this stupid to not stick up for themselves. Hopefully seeing how dumb this girl was opens peoples' eyes at least to that.
@ammridda What else are you supposed to do when you're tortured, day in and day out, at school AND at home? Cyberbullying gets to the point where you don't feel safe anywhere, and there is NOTHING you yourself can do about it. When it comes to cyberbullying, you can't stick up for yourself because you don't know who is the one bullying you. High school kids are mean. I'm currently in the tenth grade, and its hard. Rumors spread like wildfire through a dry forest, and they hurt.
@Organization13Axel8 if there's nothing you yourself can do about it, then what is anyone else going to do? I know kids in high school are mean, i've been the victim, been the bully, been the person watching it happen, and been the person who was friends with those who were being bullied. (1/2)
@Organization13Axel8 you can't say that you don't know who's bullying you- when someone says something, either ignore them or stand up for yourself. it hurts, but doing something about it is more effective than sitting around and sulking over it. the more you sit around and let people push u around, the more they'll think you're weak and do it to you. so stand up and tell them to back off. (2/2)
@ammridda if you hadnt noticed, they stick up for themselves in the end. And things like this Do happen! It ISNT unrealistic. How would you feel if people were bullying you like that? Ive been in her shoes, and trust me, it doesnt feel too good...
@ACwebshow100 I never said I was never bullied. Everyone gets bullied at some point, some more than others. I never said "no one bullies kids like this, no one is that mean." Kids are THE MEANEST when they're young. All I'm saying is that the way they handled this is dumb in my opinion. Going to the principle like he could do anything? Trying to get the site shut down because a few kids at school were being mean? (1/2)
@ACwebshow100 That's unrealistic. What's real is telling kids to f*** off and not let them get to you. What's real is having good friends, and actually having your friends back. So in my opinion, she needed better friends and she needed to THINK about what she said to them and what she did that made herself feel worse about people being mean to her. (2/2)
@iluvrihannaXxXxXxXxX are you fucking retarded? This movie was terrible! It moved too fast, and when it did move, it was overdramatic and unrealistic. Nobody gets that upset about "cyberbullying" - suck it up and move on. The Titanic is an award-winning film, loved by critics worldwide, and you have the nerve to compare this shit movie to that? PFFFTT
yea i was told to watch this but hell no ABC family drama movie i thought this was gunna be an actual movie not a stupid teeny bopper movie with a bunch of 13 year old girls
@100freeswimmer Well you sure spell like you're five. Yeah, we need to learn that not what everyone says is true. But that doesn't mean that it's okay for people to bully others. Words hurt- and that's coming from a person that got bullied, me. See? You're calling me gay. That's totally out of context. Words DO hurt people. Yeah, cause that's so funny, right?
This movie was showing on tv just now, in Malaysia & me against bullying! Unfortunately bystanders usually tend to lean toward the bully's side! I hope this great movie create awareness 'cause words can hurt, may you R.I.P Megan Meier & deepest condolence to her family~ I hope anyone who go through this, stay strong! 'Cause you know people are spreading something not true about you so don't bother them & I know exactly how it feels like to be bullied indirectly & being verbally abused...
@MsCierraBatchelder Then you must be a little bitch who doesn't understand that's it's the FUCKING INTERNET and this movie was the biggest overdramatic shitpile I've ever seen in my life.
I hate when people say things about this movie like "nobody would let that happen to them". Are you kidding me? I was a victim. I was terrified. I did nothing to stop them. This movie couldn't be more true. There are people out there who are too scared to stand up for themselves or try and stop it. That is what this movie is about.
@raeganannie06 I agree. I find it frustrating when people say 'it isn't realistic' or that 'the main character deserved what she got for not doing what her mother said' (in regards to shutting down her profile). But that is reality. Most teenagers these days, despite good intentions, do not listen to their parents - and it is only until they are older that they realize they should have listened. It is VERY realistic from my perspective, and I thought it personified cyberbullying brilliantly.
The movie seems unrealistic but really i don't think it is. Ppl can feel trapped on the internet especially if they're not too strong to say 'i don't care'. I remember once a guy would write crap on my profile for fun.. and all i did was answer back instead of just ignore him. Social Networks can be such a trap.. like u can't escape even though it's quite easy to do it..
i love this movie, its shows how much you can hurt someone with just typing on a computer. People need to learn how to live in the world and not hurt people, just find something else to do with their lives.....
@TheFashionista27 ikr ive been bullied for 7 years straight and itz still happening ive gone to 4 different schools....and she cud have just deleted her facebook or watever the thing was for a bit to get away from it.....they need something that really touches people that makes them cry...something really sad and bone chilling
GO DRINK SOME HATER-ADE YOU HATERS! THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING! not the best movie ever but still amazing! if you guys were still teenagers, you would understand.
@MsLexiiLouu thing is she didnt even try to make it stop, or delete her account. she didnt even stand up for herself. it made no sense, nobody would just let that happen to them.
@EBurns91 really? people actually DIe from this, if you didnt already know. You have no right to call this "gay." You probably sit on ur big ass all day and get straight f's in school! Who are you to judge? And anyways, you are the one who actually watched this video. If you think its "soo gay," why did you look it up in the first place. If you think you can call this gay, then i think i can all YOU gay? OK?
Even though this movie is considered "gay" or corny I still think the message is clear. On Facebook I always see guys and girls insulting or calling people names and they don't realize how much it hurts, and if they watch this movie I think some of them would consider the consequences.
and with the top comments, people DO create drama but pages like Facebook give students a medium in which to target others, just saying.
1 day ago when you are reading thid do not stop or something bad will happen! (sorry about this) this girl's name is summer she is 15 years old and has blonde hair, many scars, and she has no ear. She is dead. If you don't copy this to more than 5 videos, she will appair one dark quiet night when you are not expecting it beside your bed with a knife and going to kill you. This is no joke. If you send this on 5 more videos something good will happen to you......sorry i dnt wanna die haha
As a psychiatrist I support bullying to no end. Because of bullying my business is booming. Bullies destroy their victims self worth and then the victims parents pay me $400 a week to fix their whining children. And by the way, I do not charge $400 a session. I charge $200 a session but make the sessions two times a week so I can make as much money as possible. And on another note I don't see my clients as patients, I see them as dollar signs.
I think that all you people who are commenting that it is gay, it actually isn't this movie is about trrue stuff! This is a great movie about cyberbullying and it shows what it can do to people like the girl that got bullied, you guys need to back off about saying its gay because its not! its a movie worth watching and it teaches you about the things that can happen. it shows some good stuff that can happen, because I have experienced bullying and this movie shows what it does to people!
@MaddisonBryan13 Yes, it's about true stuff. But it represents it terribly. This represents bullying in a type of way where people won't care about it. Cyber bullying shouldn't even be the main concern when there are kids getting the shit beat out of them daily around the US. Facebook doesn't create drama, we do.
does that page where shes logged in really exist?

OfficialTayTayFanz 1 month ago
Everyone who is suing this movie is too dramatic, shut the fuck up, ok? In real life people DO get bullied online, and my best friend almost killed herself because of it. I almost killed myself because of me getting bullied for my legs. But we both watched this movie and we both were shocked at how realistic it was
tfarox123 1 month ago
This movie really changed my life. I watched it one night when i was bored and cried through the whole thing. I creied because i have been in her shoes before, and because i have been a bully. When i saw how she reacted to the bullying, it really made me think about what i have done. I know how bad and guilty i would feel if someone had tried to commit suicide because of me bullying them. I am 15 years old and i know i will never bully anyone after watching this movie.

@sexynelly444 maybe bullied but not cyberbullied. If they killthemselves from someone being a dick on the Internet then they need to quit being such a pussy and get over it. Not everybody likes them; put your ego away and learn.
metalpayne3 1 month ago
I honestly thought this movie was horrible. Yes I understand that cyberbulling is a real thing and that it really gets to people, but the message of this movie was so off. All it taught kids to do was to run to someone for help and that kids in high school can be extremely mean. It was so unrealistic the way they handled this and it just makes me sad that kids are raised this stupid to not stick up for themselves. Hopefully seeing how dumb this girl was opens peoples' eyes at least to that.
ammridda 1 month ago
@ammridda What else are you supposed to do when you're tortured, day in and day out, at school AND at home? Cyberbullying gets to the point where you don't feel safe anywhere, and there is NOTHING you yourself can do about it. When it comes to cyberbullying, you can't stick up for yourself because you don't know who is the one bullying you. High school kids are mean. I'm currently in the tenth grade, and its hard. Rumors spread like wildfire through a dry forest, and they hurt.
Organization13Axel8 1 month ago
@Organization13Axel8 if there's nothing you yourself can do about it, then what is anyone else going to do? I know kids in high school are mean, i've been the victim, been the bully, been the person watching it happen, and been the person who was friends with those who were being bullied. (1/2)
ammridda 1 month ago
@Organization13Axel8 you can't say that you don't know who's bullying you- when someone says something, either ignore them or stand up for yourself. it hurts, but doing something about it is more effective than sitting around and sulking over it. the more you sit around and let people push u around, the more they'll think you're weak and do it to you. so stand up and tell them to back off. (2/2)
ammridda 1 month ago
@Organization13Axel8 @ACwebshow100
I'm just stating my opinion, if this movie touched you and you could relate to it or it changed your life, then more power to ya.
ammridda 1 month ago
@ammridda if you hadnt noticed, they stick up for themselves in the end. And things like this Do happen! It ISNT unrealistic. How would you feel if people were bullying you like that? Ive been in her shoes, and trust me, it doesnt feel too good...
ACwebshow100 1 month ago
@ACwebshow100 I never said I was never bullied. Everyone gets bullied at some point, some more than others. I never said "no one bullies kids like this, no one is that mean." Kids are THE MEANEST when they're young. All I'm saying is that the way they handled this is dumb in my opinion. Going to the principle like he could do anything? Trying to get the site shut down because a few kids at school were being mean? (1/2)
ammridda 1 month ago
@ACwebshow100 That's unrealistic. What's real is telling kids to f*** off and not let them get to you. What's real is having good friends, and actually having your friends back. So in my opinion, she needed better friends and she needed to THINK about what she said to them and what she did that made herself feel worse about people being mean to her. (2/2)

I hate when people say things about this movie like "nobody would let that happen to them". Are you kidding me? I was a victim. I was terrified. I did nothing to stop them. This movie couldn't be more true. There are people out there who are too scared to stand up for themselves or try and stop it. That is what this movie is about.
raeganannie06 2 months ago 20

OK?
Grlcansnglikewha 2 months ago
Even though this movie is considered "gay" or corny I still think the message is clear. On Facebook I always see guys and girls insulting or calling people names and they don't realize how much it hurts, and if they watch this movie I think some of them would consider the consequences.
and with the top comments, people DO create drama but pages like Facebook give students a medium in which to target others, just saying.

And on another note I don't see my clients as patients, I see them as dollar signs.
sjm8890 2 months ago
I think that all you people who are commenting that it is gay, it actually isn't this movie is about trrue stuff! This is a great movie about cyberbullying and it shows what it can do to people like the girl that got bullied, you guys need to back off about saying its gay because its not! its a movie worth watching and it teaches you about the things that can happen. it shows some good stuff that can happen, because I have experienced bullying and this movie shows what it does to people!
MaddisonBryan13 2 months ago
@MaddisonBryan13 Yes, it's about true stuff. But it represents it terribly. This represents bullying in a type of way where people won't care about it. Cyber bullying shouldn't even be the main concern when there are kids getting the shit beat out of them daily around the US. Facebook doesn't create drama, we do.
