erm, I think you are missing the point. The point is that "holding people accountable" for racism is not the best way to handle it. bandito36: Not really being hypocritical, or insincere. It bugs me when someone mistakes a bit of graciousness for a sign of weakness. I will admit to getting my ire up when people wont move off the subject of the Republican loss, as if their frustration with their candidates miss-steps will some how generate an election recall. I know some people are steadfast in their beliefs, and others just want to blow off some steam. I get pissed, tho when people refuse get over what they can't change.

I was full steam Obama after his book but I thought Hill might be better in a general because I knew they would hit him with bricks and I thought Hill might have a chance against Romney in a General because she could play dirty. When Hill went negative she lost me I was with Obama win or Lose. Iraq is what made Hillary lose. I thought there was an unwritten order Woman, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Gay, Atheist and Muslim The first Muslim president will be some time around 2176. lol

I knew Obama was going to win after he beat Hilary in the primary...even then he was running a campaign that is so much better than anything I'd ever seen before. I knew McCain wouldn't be able to compete with it, and as long as Obama stayed truthful and fought back Republican lies (without going too negative) that he would win.

He has racism in his heart. A lot of people do because after Obama won, all people could focus on is how they never thought a black man could accomplish such a thing. And the fact that McCain's entire campaign was negative definitely illustrates hidden racism. People can deny all they want but thats the truth. Obama was call every name in the book and people stood by what they believed about him. Now people dont want to be accountable for what is so blatantly obvious.

erm, I think you are missing the point. The point is that "holding people accountable" for racism is not the best way to handle it. Obama actually embodies the best way to handle racism, which is for non-whites to continually engage racists in a dignified and intelligent manner. This is the way to uproot the inner/hidden racisms that exist in people today, not the energetic, witch hunt kinda methods.
