Bingo! Nowwww I see where you're coming from and how you do indeed get a head start with Platinum's real time chart prices. A semantics thing as I was thinking purely of the update for PCFs as scans. My apologies for stirring the pot:)
Okay, I look at my tradable universe 1 hour before the close. That scan is only ran once a week or so. When I pull up each chart in the tradable U. I'm seeing the REALTIME chart. So, I get a "head start" on my scans which I run AFTER the close.
One more comment and I'll shut up:) My statement about Platinum real time vs. Gold per my experience using Platinum in the past year... I now use just the Gold, so maybe Platinum has changed.
Hey Dave, love your video and your website, but an alert to let you know that you are in error by stating that you get a jump on late day scans (one hour before close as you say) with Platinum vs. Gold.
Telechart Platinum charts are indeed live or real time, but the "scans' are the same whether using Platinum OR Gold. In this case all scans are based on 20 minute delay. The 'live" portion of Platinum is only good for looking at a single chart as it auto updates live.
