don't know about idf specifically, but NOBODY signs up 18 yr olds as fighter/combat pilots. you may go through training & mutltiple quals & screenings and still end up in c-30s (if they let you in the air at all). that's what i meant by

Former Air Force pilot here, and I can tell that in some of the video that is shot pointing forwards, the video IS sped up (and obviously - actually, ridiculously - so, in the first third or so of the clip). But in ALL of the video where the camera is pointed to the rear and out the side of the cockpit, none of that is sped up. That's what it looks like doing high-speed, low-level flights.

An F-16 Max-Speed is 2142 Km/h, as it has Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-200 with 10.800 Kilograms of jetforce / and the newer F-16 MLU has got 1 General Electric F110-Ge-100 turbofan with 13.150 kilograms of jetthrust. No wonder they fly like Freaking bullets on meth. I currently have 64 hours of in flight training with the Alpha jet in order to get my flying license as a combat-pilot for the Belgian army. I can go fly the F-16 for the first time in 3 months at kleine brogel ^^

actually it was the pilot. that f-16 is the "c" version. a single seater, the dual one is the "d" version. cockpit just stretched out a bit in the "d". plus your forgetting the HOTAS flight system. side mounted stick.
