God i miss the 80s thanks so much for all these great commercials born in 1975 i lived through all this and it reminds me of simpler times before adult hood crept up and kicked me in the ass,Thanks 80s commercial dude.
When I was in college (go Mizzou!), I flew in and out of KCI several times. I'm pretty sure I never once had a spring in my step as I walked through the terminal.
Apparently, the Bay Area wasn't ready for an all-news radio station, since KFYI was no more by that July.
Has any drill sergeant shared a bag of cookies with any private, ever?
It's sort of amazing to me that plastic bottles were still innovative then. And wow, that "Beatrice" jingle seemed awkwardly stuck in.
I was stuck in that damned Kansas City airport in 1998 for six hours...it looked exactly the same and obviously, flying to KC did not ensure a good experience.
That Eastern Air Lines Commercial had to have been a subtle dig at Southwest Airlines and their style of boarding.
Sad that Kansas City never really succeeded as a hub for any airline. They wouldn't reconfigure it the way DFW (which has a similar layout) did to accommodate a hub
"10. Almost Home Cookies (I think these were soft like Chewy Chips Ahoy...in other words, delicious as hell)" Right-on. I LOVED these! They were so good!
OMG, I only seen that chaplin/ducks IBM commercial one time in science class & never again...I lost maybe it didn't exist. Oh, those almost home cookies were the BOMB! I had forgotten about them until now but they were soo good!

That PSA isn't as creepy as the picture ABC chose to use of Nancy Reagan.

@BoogsterSU2, maybe you know this, maybe you don't, but KFYI 550 use to be KOY, a legendary top 40/oldie's blaster in phoenix!

#3 is a lie. You never take Greebo shopping with you.
That PSA reminds me of Coldheart's soulless minions from the Care Bears.

I wanna smack that "Wer'e Beatrice" announcer upside the head, she sounds so obnoxious!
