The bible says that God's creation is VERY GOOD, and not perfect like you claim. I may be missing something, but can you please show us where man was made perfect?

Watch the video again. I say that christians claim that the creation was perfect. The bible does claim that god is perfect and then a perfect god evaluates his creation as very good. Anything less than perfect to a perfect god would not be seen as very good. You do make a valid point though.

Another failing in the plot is that ........it was not good for man to be alone and that no helper was found. Thus we see a creation going from good....to very good ....then no good........so no foresight or planning ahead, for the all knowing, all perfect god

Well if Satan disobeyed first, thus sin was already in the world before adam and eve were created. But god created adam and eve anyway.... thus, god created his own problem, knowing full well the consequences of his actions, rather than correcting the problem, before hand E.G. not creating satan in the first place and secondly getting rid of him when he disobeyed, he just let the problem get even more out of hand........

Regardless of it was Satan, symbolic or otherwise, Genesis 3:14 has God curse ALL serpents to crawl on their belly all of their life and eat dust because of this. So assuming that Cobras rearing up does not break this curse it implies that pre-fruit-incident, serpents walked upright on their tails... Is that not another plot hole?

Not to mention that serpents demonstrably eat things other than dust.

The serpent in the Genesis story seems to represent something like wisdom, insight, reason, enlightenment. It was, after all, the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (of what one ought and ought not to do) that the serpent persuaded Eve to eat of. The serpent is a symbol of wisdom in many myths. Yet what is there about the snake as a symbol that suggests wisdom. I find this puzzling. Renewal, yes ('cos of its sloughed off skin); sexuality, yes. But wisdom? Any ideas, anyone?

In Genesis I it says that Man and Woman were created together. Later in Genesis II it contradicts itself and states the part about Eve being made from Adam's rib. Load a spare magazine full to shoot more holes Genesis.

This is true, but ask most any theist and they will claim it is Satan. But even if not, we still have an evil being in the garden in full rebellion of god. Man is not responsible for the corruption of the creation either way.

1. That the Bible LIES to you that it was a serpent and not Satan.

2. That God was tricked into punishing serpents by removing their arms and legs, making them have to crawl or slither about. Though they only take half their punishment, snakes don't eat dirt

In the ancient world, and even through medieval history, sin and evil were considered to be metaphysical stuff, substances that can seep into your soul and lay ahold of it. According to the Genesis story, this stuff is what was allowed into the world when Adam and Eve ate the fruit. We're not being punished for their misdeed; we've been made vulnerable to sin and, being human, can't resist.

Doesn't explain how a perfect god could create imperfect beings, though.

another hole: no where does Genesis say that the snake was Satan and if it were Satan then why would god punish all snakes for what Satan did? Thus, the snake was just a talking snake or god is unfair for punishing snakes.

Indeed... Did you know that out of the two; the fictional god character was the first to lie in Gen 2:17. And the fictional serpent character was the first to speak the truth to Eve in/at: Gen 3:4-5. Which is later confirmed by the god character itself at Gen 3:22.

I entreat any christian to read chapters 1-3, or the whole book of Genesis to confirm the context for their selves.
