maybe you can help me... i found a mallard egg and I've been using a heat lamp to keep if warm and incubating it but now i have fund what it seems to look like a vain on the egg but it's on the inside. is this a good sign or a bad one please help me!
Hi nice vid...I have some goose eggs and when I candle them they don't move every time...they are between 14-19 days old...the egg is A LOT darker and it's harder to see inside...but, i can clearly see veins and movement...how can i tell they are a few days from hatching becuse i want to know when to stop turning them...also is it normal that the eggs are much darker than they were before?
There are several things that can go wrong before and during incubation . If there were problems before hand then you wouldn't even notice them growing, because they wouldnt. If something goes wrong during the incubation, within a couple of hours you will notice that the blood veins have disappeared, therefore there is no bloodflow and the baby is dead. As you get further into the process it takes sometime to even notice if they are moving when they are taking up most of the space in the egg.
The best advice for me to give you is to do your homework and research the entire process and learn it inside and out. The internet is free knowledge.
hey i have a question I paid $130 for an incubator wit a fan & egg turner & i candle my eggs & they look as if they are they stopped growing around day 3 or 4 & its been 6 days already should i be worried? & im sure they are fertile..... & the temperature is set right & humidity is doin good but i still dnt know wats going on..... The eggs r only 5 days old until i put them in.....
nope there is one in there. and its a duck by the way. it is possible for there to be two in an egg, or double yolk eggs, but when it is time to hatch, they wont make it because they will squish eachother trying to get out.
its ok

Around what day do you first see movement in the duck eggs? I can't wait until my little egg looks like that! A very wonderful experience.
