My first job was as a bag boy for winn-dixie in florida. they had a program where you could ask the cashier to "even it up" and they would round your purchase up to the nearest dollar and give it to the united way. this song was stuck in my head for the first two years i worked there.
Heart was great,I like the drummer he was a HUGE Bonzo fan and used alot of his off-time fills and beats, and the sisters Well...We already know they rock!
Great song, one of their most underrated hit songs of their career, the classic rock stations don't seem to play this song as often as their other hits
@mothgraphics DeRosier in 1984 played in Orion The Hunter w/former Boston axeman Barry Goudreau & later in melodic rock supergroup Alias w/members of Sheriff & Frozen Ghost.
Great song. Harmonies send the vocals into overdrive. I don't care if it is a manufactured video - the image is one of the best I have seen of the band at this time. In an interview Ann said she played bass on the original (maybe the whole album). She said playing bass with the Tower of Power Horns was quite thrill.
Interesting... from 1:10 to 1:15 Nancy switches guitaRs 3 times, and the bass switches from a Jazz to P-bass at least once. Kinda shows it's not really live, but man, it's still great!
Great very early MTV video! Saw it all of the time in '81. F____ Vevo! I just photographed a phenomenal Heart tribute band here in South Jersey called Kick It Out..... they have the looks and the chops of the original super group!!
The scenes with the horn section detract from what could have been additional footage of the very hot Wilson sisters. The director of this video was a dumbass!
Hey VEVO WTF cares about Jessie J? We're trying to watch Heart here. Ann & Nancy ARE legends & have been rocking for 35 yrs now. Do you think Jessie J. or any of these sucky acts from today have a chance to linger that long?
@partgard1 Fucking right it is...miss it too....Rock and Roll is over with...very few of these new bands give me any hope. What happened to smoking in arena, lighters up...standing on a chair with your girlfriend on your shoulder..gettin hauled up by security, escapin to the bathroom..do another line and find new seats.
@davehutchinson67 go check out jesse kinch then you'll have some more hope for rock n roll. "Timeless rider" my favorite song by him...you can get the best quality of his music on reverbnation . com
@davehutchinson67 yeah man. I remember when you'd light up joint, pass it to your left and you never saw it again. That was ok though because another was coming down the line from both directions. fun times
@ptmaker1 I have fond memories of that very thing! Thanks for bringing them back! Those were the days! And you didnt have to worry that it was something other then a regular joint and not some wacked out stuff that will kill you! Better times then... Better world then!
Gang, could ya possibly make your comments, without havin' to resort to usin' cuss words? Little kids imitate what they read!

Shame this 1 only peaked at #33 in Billboard,. Should've charted MUCH higher than that, right, gang?

Great song - - why in the world did they mess it all up in 1984? And REALLY mess it up by getting rid of Michael DeRosier???? Great drummer

Bebe Le Strange era post-Roger Fisher with Nancy competently transitioning the right side of the stage to take on more of the guitar work with Howard.
Awesome. I agree with everyone on here: You'd be hard pressed to find a comparison nowadays.
Aside: Someone in this posting thread needs to edumacate himself on international copyright law before they make themself look really silly on line.
