  • I have news for both you Christians and Muslims alike. The one God you all speak of, is the Sun, personified. Thanks for playing.

  • 8:37 Muhammad gives a thumbs up!!! return the favor!!!

  • The food looks interesting, that would be one cool to try.

  • he reminds me of Jason Statham a little bit

  • Jews DO NOT believe that the Messiah is the son of God!

  • now lets see if we can get a Muslim to do the same by living as a Jew..

  • @paulspydar It shouldnt be a problem, because Islam recognizes both Judism and Christianity

  • poor dude. somebody should have been like a guide and make him feel welcomed in the mosque. maybe someone should wait for him while the others pray and then that person can pray afterwards. I feel like more than ever, when someone volunteers to be in a situation that is totally out of their comfort zone, as Muslims, we should try and make him/her feel at ease.

  • At around 8:25 there is an error. Muslims dont believe that Muhammad PBUH wrote the Quran; rather, it was revealed to him.

  • @smithkyle51 yup, ur right. the Prophet couldn't read much less write. he had his companions do the writing as he conveyed the Quran to them.

  • Monotheism is ruining this planet. This is propaganda. Why would anyone want the demographics to change in a negative way like this?

  • "Prove to me thats the world have two gods"... Prove to me thats the world has one!

  • I'm not religious, but after this experience, god is proud of Dave.

  • @dchang11 Who is proud of dave?

  • I feel like the prayer thing is taking it a bit far.

I mean, I completely understand that the point is total immersion, but asking someone to do something that is directly opposing their beliefs is crossing a line.

  • @myironlungca If you are an American, its people like you who make us other Americans with brains, look bad. Especially your last comment, WTF, just because we can point the better gun/weapon will not make us a better American or Country. It only shows lack of discipline and respect for other people or countries around us. Why don't you take @sawu101 idea and read the quran and have an open mind, you might actually learn something.

  • One thing Muslims need to do, is not treat there women like second class citizens, that is my major problem with it.

  • @orion584 Islam doesnt, Islam gives alot of rights to women, if you read the Bible Christianity give women far less rights, it was individuals who gave you the rights you have today, not the religion. the reason Islam has rules for women is to protect them. Often people dont realize this but islam also tells men not to look at women. Islam is a religion of peace and love and that is why I say May Allah give u peace and blessings :) ps. in islam we believe in the same god as christians do.

  • @orion584 Christians treat them way worse if they followed the bible.

  • Props to this man who gave it chance.

  • The Holy Qur'an is not the writings of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It was revealed to him through Divine Inspiration directly from God. To say that it is a writing of the Prophet (pbuh) is incorrect as it is the Word of God, the Holy Scripture of God. The Prophet (pbuh) was an illiterate before the Qur'an was revealed to him which makes it impossible for him to write something so perfectly written.

  • Fuck Saddam for what he did.

He'd better develop a fetish for fire, because we all know where he'd be going.

  • It blew my mind that it blew his mind that Christians and Muslims pray to the same God. Like, I learned that at school. How did he not learn that at school?

  • wow he really has a hard time stepping outside of his little box

  • this imam is a dickhead. he was just trying to experience Islam and not to debate about Islam and Christianity. way to go brother in putting bad mindset on non muslims.

  • there is no religion really, just an ancient cult.

  • you sons of bitches shoudnt drawn the prophete muhammad! sick basterds!

  • Good Lord! What's up with all the hate comments! Just watch the damn video and learn.

  • Depiction of mohammad at 8:37 ? Uh-oh. Childish death threats any moment now.....

  • @sparkyjunk

Real Muslims don't get offended by that.

I'm sure extremest Christians get offended when they draw cartoons of Jesus.

  • @astrocientista I stand corrected. Childish death threats by imaginary muslims any moment now.....

  • @astrocientista Yeah, some extreme x'tians might be offended by the cartoon Jesus too. But they won't try to murder the cartoonist, or make death threats against the network, etc.

  • @sparkyjunk Actually they would and have previously.

  • @sparkyjunk So X'ians are just as bad as Muslims? You're probably right?

  • ahhhh! picture of muhhamad at 8:39!

  • this guy is retarded. Its the same God!!!!!!!!! ignorant conservative christians piss me off the most

  • The dude needs to try to calm down.

  • Well, they could have chosen a little more educated person. I mean the host family is doctor married to the law student and the Christian guy definitely was not first in line at brain distribution.

  • @blondecat666 lol, true, but i think they were going for that typical ignorant American kind of guy

  • @blondecat666 I think thats what makes it interesting. Dont take someone absolutely open and questioning their faith. Have someone devout, who is willing to consider experimenting. The imam was brilliant, and had an excellent way of explaining. I wish more people would see this part at least.

  • just to clarify .. this imam or pasture or whatever the hell he is .. is actually from the "SHEA" muslims -which is an islamic minority localized in iran- the majority of of muslims are "sunna"

there's lots of differences but the beliefs are "almost" similar

  • @00belief00 What you are talking about is not islam, islam has no divisions, shia and sunni is made up. The quran prohibits religion to be divided into sects. This is in sura Al-anaem i forgot which chapter please research. Remember we are all muslim, shia and sunni and all other sects where created by man and not god. So lets follow gods word and not mans.

    Peace x

  • @Treckorz Hehe, yes Shia and Sunni was created by man, but so is the idea of god. It's all man-made. Why would god if he exists be portrayed as a creature that resembles human beings with feelings, thoughts, and ideas that are very similar to the philosophical ideas of the era that particular god was created? If god existed, why would he appear before so many prophets, with such a different set of laws and ideas, and also ideas that fit with the laws of the prophets society?

  • The funny thing is, most of the hate aimed at Muslims is from Christians. You won't find atheists picketing Muslims.

Faiths hate each other around the world a lot.

  • @karadan100 Very well said.

  • @karadan100 Considering that one's against all faith DON'T!

  • @MHS032 Wrong. Atheism is simply a world view which doesn't include god or structured religion. It isn't against all faiths. It is the LACK of faith in a higher power.

  • @karadan100 True true, but still some do argue with religion, and like you said in the first one :)

  • @karadan100 I don't know if that's completely true, European countries are very atheist, and I think there is a whole lot of hatred towards muslims, and particularly arabs.

  • @astroboomboy Yeah, in the UK, there's some towns in the north like Bolton which have fairly high instances of racism. This isn't hate generated from religious ideals however, It's just plain old small-brained racism.

It's a very different kettle of fish in the US, though. On the flip side, it is the same in places like Saudi. For instance, how many churches do you think there are in Saudi Arabia?

The answer: None. If one were to be built, you can bet it would be burned immediately.

  • @karadan100 Yeah, guess your right. Religion might be the end of us...

  • @astroboomboy and there wont be war if atheists rule the world? religion will not be the end of us, uneducated fool.

  • @sawu101 Most wars today are directly linked to either nationalism, patriotism, or religion, or a mixture of all of these. But religion plays the most dominant part. If you also look at soldiers, majority are always very religious. I guess you believe in fairy tales, so it is probably very hard to have a rational conversation with you...

  • @sawu101 my comment was to Karadan100. Religion is the root cause of all terrorism and wars today, every single one is somehow based on religion. Religion always divided people, and cause them to fight each other because of stupid fairy tales.

  • @astroboomboy yeah and and athiest filled world will stop it? there will always be war and it is mainly caused by athiest governments, since they believe in no religious boundaries they dont care what happens to people

  • @sawu101 Now you'r making things up, there is no such thing as an atheist government, most government leaders and politicians are religious, and the more religious they are the more violent and extreme they are (Iran, Saudi Arabia, most African countries). Bush started two wars, and he found inspiration and legitimacy through god, at least he himself claimed that god spoke to him. The least violent countries, Norway, Sweden, Japan, Denmark, Island, BeNeLux, are most atheist countries as well.

  • @sawu101 If religion made humans act in a better way, then there would be less violence in countries with most believers, however that is not the case, actually it's the opposite. On the list of most peaceful countries created by the renowned Institute for Economics and Peace the only predominantly religious country on top 15 is Qatar. US is on 85th place, below China and Saudi Arabia.

  • @sawu101 You make lots of claims, but have no way to back them up other than the feelings you have of atheism as something bad (at least it seems to me that you consider it bad). What countries have atheist governments? Do you think of China? Because China probably has the most rigid borders on the planet, and is very pro dividing people and creating religious boundaries. They keep very strict control on religion, and do not let new religious movements grow.

  • @sawu101 Now lets see if you even attempt to answer or refute any of my claims, or you just start off by saying something almost unintelligible again, and make claims that you can't back up, or that even make any logical sense. But as you believe in fairy tales, I guess it is not easy for you to be rational...

  • @astroboomboy Lol, easy for you to talk behind a computer, so what if i believe in God, what does that change? im in the highest sets in all of my classes at school, and how is that unintelligible? i am simply and rationally saying that since athiest governments don't believe in anything they have nothing to fear, and if you are stating that an athiest world will make the world a better place, well then im not the one being irrational.

  • @sawu101 your talking behind a computer too. Again you did not answer any of my questions, and if you are among the top students in your class you must have retard classmates.

  • @astroboomboy how can i answer what you did not ask? and easy for you to say that my classmates are retarded fact is, i don't give a shit what you think all you ignorant Atheist's do is boast about how you are more clever then 98% of the world, you know nothing, and i clearly have seen that you have changed subjects mr.rational, i thought we were talking about religion.

  • @sawu101 You made some claims that are very hard to back up, and I made some that I expected you to refute, however you did not, and you started talking about your own intelligence. Now how can I have a discussion with you when you clearly don't want to discuss, but rather just want to think that atheism is somehow evil. Also, I never said I am atheist, which I'm not, what I don't buy is that religion makes humans act better.

  • @sawu101 Just answer me this, if you claim that atheism leads to worse behavior or morals, than why is there less crime, and less conflict in countries with a high percentage of atheist? Why are the Nordic countries and Japan, who probably have the largest atheist population, the most well-functioning countries with the least amount of crime.

  • @astroboomboy fact is it is not because they are atheist or anything, its because the country itself is more developed economically, meaning that the children are raised in more tolerable facilities, you cannot really say anymore considering the fact that the atheist governments has been milking of the third world countries.

  • @sawu101 The children are not raised in better condition than other highly developed countries, but these countries are the most atheist countries on the planet. By your standard they should be hellholes and the people there should not have any sense of morals, but from looking at data on homocide, rape, crime in general, these countries score very low, and they have the highest atheist population. To me this is an indication that the least religious societies are the best societies to live in.

  • @sawu101 The countries I mentioned are not more developed than USA, Italy, UK or Wales. However, those countries have far more crime, and those countries have more religious people. So religion does not seem to be an indication of a good society. If god rewards believers, then why aren't the countries with most believers the countries where people live in peace and safety?

  • @astroboomboy well to be honest, 70% of all Scandinavian countries are religious, that a high amount, its not to do with religion, its to do with how people are brought up, my neighbor hood is almost all religious, hell 80% of my town is religious and there is little to no crime here, i think you need to get out more because i think you are missing the picture.

  • @sawu101 70$ are not religious, most statistics give a wrong picture of religion in Scandinavia because at birth every citizen here is automatically registered in the state church. But from the most cited Norwegian statistical firm (ssb), one of their latest publication showed that only 32% of Norwegian population considered themselves religion, and around 40% to believe in a deity, and the older the people where the more chance of believing.

  • @sawu101 your claim is atheism creates bad morals, but the countries with most atheists are the least violent and have the least crime, so your claim is completely biased on your own ideas. I don't care about atheism, but I hate when people claim that religion makes a human being better, because there is no evidence that it does. I think I read somewhere that 99% of people incarcerated in the US are religious. According to the idea that atheists are evil prisons should be filled with them.

  • @astroboomboy yeah so what if they are religious? they clearly didn't follow their religion, the holy books talk of peace not violence, people cause chaos not the religion, and i never claimed atheism is the main leading cause im just saying that there would be more worse things happening, hitler and the third reich for example, they are atheist, josef stalin was an atheist, see where i am getting?

  • @sawu101 If that was true than Scandinavia would be a hell-hole, which it clearly isn't. Japan would be in ruins. This is not the case, as these countries are always on top of the list of best countries to live in. I'm not seeing where you are heading, Hitler was himself a Roman Catholic, the third reich was based on a hatred that stemmed from tradition, and christians hatred towards the Jewish people. It had nothing to do with atheism.

  • @astroboomboy hitler soon turned to atheism so did the rest of the Reich, and what do you mean "if that was true" it is true its recorded in history lol, lets get away from Scandinavia and Japan for a moment because they are not the problem 1 of the reasons is they are a religion tolerant society, quite a high amount of religious people, and as i said religion doesn't cause violence, people do, think about it and it will be crystal clear for you.

  • @sawu101 That's not true, but if you can give me a source on Hitler the the people of the third Reich becoming atheists I will give you one point. The only reason there is religious tolerance in these countries is because of atheists. The Christian church in Norway was against treating all religions the same, they wanted christianity to be the only religion taught in schools back in the 50s. You can't leave these countries alone in such a debate, today the most violent people are religious.

  • @sawu101 Almost all terrorism is inspired by religion. And if you want to bring up history, atheist crimes are nothing opposed to what Muhammed did when he spread islam, and nothing against the crusades, the which hunts of the middle ages, the killing of scientists and those that questioned christianity. I thank god for atheism!

  • @astroboomboy as I said these crimes were done by deluded people who strayed from the path of light, i ask you pick up a Quran and read it yourself because its defiantly not the religion itself, and the most brutal genocides were done by atheists, and Muhammad committed no crimes, i don't know where you got that from.

  • @sawu101 Ok, let's say for your convenience that atheist have commited more crimes (even though it's a logical fallacy as atheism on a large scale has a 200 year history, whereas religious crimes are from time immemorial), today the countries with more atheists are the least violent, and almost all terrorism, wars, etc. are done in the name of a god(s). It has not been a particularly interesting conversation. Have a nice life!

  • @astroboomboy It has not been an interesting conversation because you are choosing to ignore what I clearly state, people cause violence, have you seen US marines in Iraq most of them say they are atheist yet they rape and kill innocents, America as a whole has killed thousands, soviet russia's joseph stalin killed over 20 million people, mao killed over 7 million, hitler killed over 11 million people, and triggered a war which killed over 60 million people, and they were all athiest.

  • @sawu101 Your still forcing logical fallacies and thinking morals in terms of cosmology, which is often not very helpful in understand roots of systems or actions. Most US soldiers are deeply religious as can be attested by the fact that a small number of soldiers that have not wanted to participate in prayer before missions have been selectively frozen out by the unit. Religion have killed people more systematically and on a much larger scale as it's been around for a longer time.

  • @astroboomboy Lets say religion is bad, wouldn't all the countries be hell at the moment? the US government kills hundreds of people in 3rd world countries everyday in the middle east, it's natural for the countries inhabitants to fight against them, and you keep saying everything has to be logical, there are things out there we can't even fucken comprehend dickwad, such as the distance of the universe.

  • @sawu101 We know the distance of the universe, it's actually fairly basic physics. When you resort to calling names then it's clear you have nothing to say. There are other things that we don't comprehend, like why there are people like you, but that doesn't mean there isn't a logical explanation for them. Science is always making new discoveries, religion is constantly making stupid claims.

  • @astroboomboy yeah we actually don't know the distance of our universe, we can only see what our telescopes can see, the distance of the universe isn't basic physics, its complicated, science is making new discoveries you say, i can't say you are wrong, but people constantly make stupid claims, and when you say " like why are there people like you" I would take that as an insult, i do not think you are any stupider or cleverer then me i merely see you as a ignorant person.

  • @sawu101 We know the distance of the universe because of something called background radiation, we can deduce how long the universe has expanded by measuring that. Actually, we can't only "see" what our telescopes see, most of the pictures that you have seen from the universe are simulations on the basis of physical laws, from these laws we can deduce most things. When you call someone "dickwad" what kind of discussion do you expect?

  • @sawu101 And by the way, there is no such thing as stupider. The right way to say it is more stupid than me, and from the way you write I think it is fair to say that you are.

  • @astroboomboy Yes stupider is a word since it has a meaning and is understood by most people of the english language, and it seems as if you are changing the subject, please stick to it, as you are portraying yourself as a moron atm.

  • @sawu101 You're a moron arent you? The old every evil person was an atheist crap? Doesnt it ever get boring? You know you're talking absolute crap - why dont you stop.

  • @myironlungca i know i am not talking crap, i am just defending what i believe as it is my right to as a human being.

  • @sawu101 The most secular, athestic countries in the world today enjoy the highest standards of living, the highest levels of education, the best record for human rights etc etc, while the most religious countries are exactly the opposite and fail on nearly every benchmark used to measure the success of a society. The results speak for themselves. By the way Hitler was catholic, and if you bothered to stop talking absolute nonsense you would know that.

  • @myironlungca the standards in todays living conditions are not based on religion look at dubai, saudi arabia and say that, Hitler denounced Catholicism.

  • @sawu101 read last comment and address it.

  • @sawu101 sorry didnt read comment properly. clearly you have never been to dubai, go and FUCKING learn something before you start trying to defend evil. now respond

  • @myironlungca ok i will respond, i have been to dubai, have you? you are telling me to learn something without even telling me what to learn, that tells me you have nothing to say, Dubai is one of the richest countries, have you seen their fake islands? i have.

  • Comment removed

  • @sawu101 Yes Dubai is so rich it needed a 10 billion dollar bail out from Abhu Dhabi to keep the lights on. I lived in Dubai many years, all those big buildings you see were built by sub continent slave labour ruled by their arab masters. Dubai has absolutely nothing to be proud of. The ruling family are a group of gangsters who dont give a crap about their people.

  • @myironlungca ahh! another rich arab city, which has a strong base that is religious, any more you would like to share?

  • @sawu101 dear me you are a fool. Muslim countries rank at or near the bottom on all measurements of what constitutes a good society, education, standards of living, science and technology indicators, freedom of rights, equality of women etc etc etc. If you had actually spent any time working in the middle east you would see what a complete failure most of it is. Thankfully no one is actually listening to you because they know you are talking from your arse.

  • @myironlungca the reason the middle east is a failure is because of the intervention of the western countries, you wouldn't have the fuel in your car or the electricity in your home if it wasn't for the middle east.

  • @sawu101 Oh yes - blame it on the west, blah blah blah, is that why Japan is also such a failure as well? The reason the middle east is a failure is because of 1) culture, and 2) religion.

  • @myironlungca ok read the quran yourself, it preaches nothing about hate, look up the true meaning of jihad, the west wouldn't be what it is today without culture, and what i am saying about it is true, give thanks to the children killed in the middle east for your oil, pig.

  • @sawu101 Whatever. i am on the side with much better weapons - fuck face.

  • @karadan100 The funny thing is, you don't see hate from Christians anywhere on here. You only see a couple of pseudo-intellectual atheist making anti-Christian remarks.

  • @Walnut8711 Yeah, because of course this video is the only criteria by which inter-religious hatred is measured.

    lol.

  • I think this shows the close mindedness and ignorance of their own faith about many American Christians have. If he had actually read his Bible he would know that the God Muslims, Jews, and Christians all pray to is the same God. The biggest difference are the prophets.

  • @voteforalan That is very true, and they have the same message

  • this guy is paraniod

  • Nemo!
