They have a right to have a life outside of Supernatural and the fans. Generally, Supernatural fans are respectful of that and they have said that they appreciate that. And we appreciate the cons. That was so not cool when the fan made those remarks about Jared pursuing Jensen. Who knows, but it doesn't matter if is or is not true. Everyone likes the boys' camraderie and friendship, but it's going to make them feel too uncomfortable if fans keep this up. If I had to wager, I would say Jared is just playful and when friends are really close (both guys or girls) they are more playful and comfortable around one another. People shouldn't be assuming anything.

I read a comment a while back where a "fan" said that if she pays a lot of money to see these guys, she has a "right" to ask any questions she wants, no matter how personal or inappropriate. It's that type of person who makes these cons uncomfortable for the rest of us.

I hadn't noticed Jensen being asked inappropriate questions, but Jared was slammed with the necrophilia and "pursuit" of Jensen. Come on, people!

OK, I am a J2 fan myself but that made EVEN me EXTREMELY uncomfortable to listen to. I do think someone could have made a playful comment about all of Jared's "Jensen has a big 'ole crush on me" stuff, but it was just weird. She was too serious about it. She could have just said "I love all the CW interviews where you joke about Jensen liking you. That is so funny!"

But the wording she used sounded too awkward. "Good luck in your pursuit of Jensen?" WTH? And she just kept pushing it.

Thanks for posting .. I agree that fans asking questions should 'tread lightly' .. there are some things that are just inappropriate for the setting, and other things, even if intended to be funny, not everyone may take it that way. Fortunately, the guys tend to do a pretty good job of handling that kind of thing - and in front of a crowd no less. But it does leave you wondering what they must think of a portion of their 'fans.'

It's one thing for Jared to joke about something like that cause he's making the joke on himself & Jensen (who he's good friends with). It's totally different for a fan to go there. (And fans wonder why Jensen is so reticent around them!)
