I was so confused by the awful, awful audio quality and the only thing that tipped me off was the microphone which is missing the + and - buttons and looks different than the photos of the legit unit. The papers included are real ones!

I bought a pair of these of a reputable seller of ebay... and what do you know.. FAKE! Exact same packaging etc to the ones you have, at first, I noticed that the actual headphones seemed to differ slightly to the multiple pairs of apple headphones I have. The sound quality is unbelievably bad..

There fake if you look at the design of the mic button between 4:00-4:20 you should notice its the old design button without the volume controls and these should have the new designed mic with the volume controls
