They test an Army Ranger in high altitude due to their huge amounts of experience in mountain warfare, and a pilot in disorientation well, for obvious reasons.

@leiefilm Well, I'm thinking more on Spetsnaz, the training is more severe than any in the world. Some even die in training and many of the ordeals are traumatizing overall. No other country in the world goes to THAT extreme. And I don't mean for my caps to count as shouting, just an emphasis, But yeah, I was more interested to find out more about other nations though, not have America glorified. I get enough of that from my teachers.

@leiefilm Oh, and Spetsnaz was created in the process of WWI if I am not mistaken, but when it modernized, it is really kept ahead of the edge by keeping barbaric training methods and then link them to modern times. Modern times you may never have to swim through a river of blood since the UN is working to end such warfare, but if/when that does occur, Spetsnaz is prepared.

It wasn't called Spetsnaz at the time, but they did virtually the same thing, go behind enemy lines and performed various jobs to help their side win. I meant the UN is striving towards the end of ALL fighting.

@cifeso But really, no need for aggression, I understand Spetsnaz is relatively new, and yes their training is beyond belief for most of the western world, but I admire them for persevering through it, and the training does play a huge role in who will win on the battle field. They are my, personal, Super Soldiers, but let's not forget all the other Special Forces around the world. America is just so exceptionally narrow-minded it is aggravating. But hopefully you can chill and not blow up.

I can tell you unequivocally, man for man our soldiers are far superior to US soldiers, I've also been on deployments with US Army Rangers and while they are a good bunch and have some very dedicated professionals- man for man they don't measure up against Canadian or British soldiers.
If you know anything about Pat Tillman's tragic story, it might give your bluster some pause.
