She only kissed him because her power combined with the power of the Chaos Emeralds was needed to perform the miracle of bringing Sonic back to life. In an earlier cutscene Elise was embarrassed when Amy asked her about love. Therefore we can assume that Elise is to shy about the subject to bust a move during this type of situation.

Sonic is only animal in appearance (and even then he's Humanoid) in every other aspect (personality, mindset, walk/run, emotions, can eat regular food without getting sick etc) Sonic is 100% Human therefore it isn't sick or wrong. Also no. Shadow and Amy will never be together. Amy is in love with Sonic and Sonic has shown that he loves Amy back. He's just to shy around teenage girls to show it very often (especially when they are in public.)

@rosezac98 Sonic and Sally are only a couple in the SatAM/Archie Comics continuity. Sally Acorn doesn't exist in the Games/Sonic X continuity. Sonic Team have admitted that Sonic is in love with Amy but he is too shy around teenage girls (examples Elise, Shahra, and Blaze's alter ego Sir Percival)
