  • OMG he talks soooooo slow and sounds so unsure of what he is saying. Very frustrating RRrrrawrrr Another Obama speaker.. Uh...Uhh... The... the..uhh

  • Yeah, I've pretty much hated that fucking phony Pataki for a long time.

  • For the first time in history, the U.S. credit rating has been downgraded.

This “tea party downgrade” is a shameful blow to our nation’s honor and risks throwing us right back into recession. Worst of all? It was completely avoidable. But when given the choice between extremist posturing and responsible leadership, tea party Republicans chose wrong. And now, amazingly, they’re trying to pin the blame on Democrats.

  • Please refrain from labeling them "rich" or "elite" and use more descriptive labels like "multinational corporations with no allegiance to the US." The concentration of wealth we are experiencing is international, even a cabal of international banks is a better description. Millionaires are losing their homes and businesses too. So let us clearly define exactly who and where the greed is that is extracting all the wealth from the systems that create it, leaving them high and dry.

  • Wow, you seriously think you didn't come off as angry in the video? You totally did. You are actually pretty emo, and appeal to emotion often.

  • Sam Seder FTW!!!

  • Please contact your Senators, Representatives, and the White House and tell them you would support primary challengers against them if they do not include tax increases equal to or near-equal to spending cuts as part of a debt ceiling deal.

  • @sexyloser1128 Try again.. I don't need, or want more taxes. The government is simply MUCH too large, and throwing more money at it will not solve any real problems.

  • @DynamicUnreality Why do you think I want tax increases on people like me and you? I want tax increases on corporations that outsources jobs, on the banks that started this recession, on the super-rich making over a million dollars a year.

With that revenue we can start a real jobs program putting people back to work rebuilding and upgrading our infrastructure.

  • @sexyloser1128 Tax increases ALWAYS impact the poor and middle class much more than the rich, even if you are attempting to only tax the top 3% or whatever. First, corporations would simply pass that cost on to the customer as another expense, until the expense is too much and they move to another country, taking jobs and wealth from us. Second, the same would happen to the rich individuals, they would simply take their wealth and invest it elsewhere, where it won't be taxed as highly.

  • @sexyloser1128 "With that revenue we can start a real jobs program putting people back to work rebuilding and upgrading our infrastructure." Ha! That makes me laugh every time. Government jobs programs are a joke. Both Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell have both given impeccable arguments against them, search the tube for them.

  • @DynamicUnreality Government jobs would be the only jobs available once the outsourcing of America is complete.

  • @sexyloser1128 That is ridiculous. I completely agree that jobs have been outsourced dramatically, and, as I live in Ohio, my region has been hit especially hard. But don't be facetious, there are still jobs, and if the government didn't put so many restraints on new business creation, more jobs would have been created long ago. The more a business is taxed, the less money it has to hire workers. People seem to think that owning a business comes with unlimited money to pay taxes AND employees.

  • @DynamicUnreality Get real. No matter how much taxes and wages are cut. Americans can't compete with Third World sweatshop labor making less than a dollar a day.

The only solution is taxing these corporations that are outsourcing jobs and giving a tax break for business that create jobs here in United States. The only effective approach involves both the "carrot" and the "STICK".

  • @sexyloser1128 I actually defend sweatshops, but I honestly don't disagree with you that outsourcing has caused job loss in the US for a while. However if the government taxes those companies that outsource, they will simply add that price to the cost of their products, and pass it along to consumers, they won't lower the CEO's salaries or bonuses, and in fact, would probably pay out MORE bonuses to those who figured out how to most effectively bypass this new "cost". /watch?v=O2sW2wt3nLU

  • @sexyloser1128 Oh and BTW, your metaphor fails, and shows that you possibly don't even understand this simple slogan which is constantly being blabbed by pundits. You don't beat people with the stick, you cannot punish people into doing what you want, at least not in the country that I THOUGHT I lived. Although Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and others didn't agree with me.

  • @sexyloser1128 Basically, it comes down to this. I don't trust people that I don't know. The government is made up of people I don't know. Hence, I distrust the government, AND I believe they are extremely inefficient with our money, and giving them more is just throwing good money after bad.

  • The debt can't be repaid without massive inflation.

The pain is coming because all of these promises have been made. They will get their money but it won't buy anything. Maybe not this year or next but it's coming.

And still nobody brings up stopping any of the 3 wars.

  • It is the refusal for some people in this country to believe that there are folks who have to choose between buying medicine or feeding their children, paying the rent or paying the light bill. Oh yes governor, there may not be people "dying in the streets" but possibly they be dying slow, agonizing deaths from the lack of understanding by people like who believe that everything will solve by cutting taxes. We have tried that for 30 years, governor, look where it has gotten us.

  • Can't stand Pataki, he's the fucking worst.

  • it was awesome

  • Pataki has probably adopted the philosophy that greed, and selfishness is good, and he doesn't mind stepping on the heads of others to get what he wants even if it's by insulting people. Thanks for standing up and stating the FACTS and not the FOX News talking points Pataki used.

  • I love hearing about what goes on behind the scenes on these shows. Pataki got fucking owned and I can understand why he would be pissed about it.

  • Well done, good job kid.

  • So aren't the conservatives using deficit spending as a straw man? The deficit spending of the previous, and the current administrations didn't wreck the world economy. What wrecked the world economy is fraud within the banking sector. The Democrats response to that fraud has been weak kneed & Republicans describe that lame response as too much. G figure The USA was created by the merchants for the merchants & that's sort of government we have had since day one.

  • @donyunger "The deficit spending of the previous, and the current administrations didn't wreck the world economy." /wiki/United_States_public_debt check out the chart on Wikipedia. The debt problem is just getting worse, taxing the rich can not solve this problem, in my opinion.

  • Give'm hell Sam!

  • Thanks for the program, Sam.

  • love yr stuff

  • You kicked Patacki's ass

  • Douche is not a technical term? Really?! Is poo pooing a technical term?

  • of course Patacki has his MILLIONS......he's been PAID off

  • Any chance that's on film. I'd love to see this asshole break like that.

  • You're line pointing out that his successes are related to exiting at the top of a leverage bubble was sublime. But then ending... Perfectly done. We need more of people like you.

  • Pataki has always been a smart ass. Wish I knew what lake his house was on, I'd pay him a visit.

  • @Boomer1949 Maybe you should reconsider posting comments for the public to read?
