If you feel this is cruel then close the slaughter houses who kills tons of animals every year, Stop distrying forest which is home to these poor animals stop eating meat and then stop bull fighting..stoping just bullfighting is not a solution at all. actually only the spaniards kill the bull during the bullfight, the "torero" stabs it in the heart with a sword, but in Portugal the law forbids it, the bull ALWAYS lives, and only gets put down latter, in a slaughter house, and then his meat is sold just like any other cow, in the local meat markets
