@bluesmanhell No sorry! This clock has been made to be unique. John only makes one off clocks which is part of the attraction to the buyer. No blueprints will ever be released.
Music is bloody awful, but the clock is absolutely beautiful. I wish I was clever enough to make one! :) Very curious thing, and very enthralling, congratulations.
I'll pass your kind comment on to John. If you think it looks good now just wait till its finished. I had a sneak look at the new Brass table yesterday - fantastic!
i know that it uses a lot of momentum from the weights and inertia from the gears, is that it? and you designed the marble track to reach an exact time period? boy that certainly required a LOT of calculation!!
anyways sorry for any bad english...and congratulations for your achievement!! hope you get it done soon =)
and oh, what is the weight of the marble? seems heavy (for the speed)
Thanks for your comment. For a detailed explaination of the workings go to 'The Biggest Rolling ball clock in the world' from Kmplive. Type in to search -Sheffield Rolling Ball Clock.
Yea I would have put some Jazz on myself - like a young guy I heard on guitar recently. I think his name was Diesel Amish or something similar.
I suspended star rating because its not finished yet. A lot of the Alloy parts you see will be replaced with top quality Brass, stainless steel and Gold plate about £30,000+ in materials alone. It will look fantastic and be very accurate.
what other clocks has john fox made I would love to see videos of all his unique creations

The "Georgie Girl" song makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER in this context--but it made me very happy. Like the clock.

No. There is no such thing as perpetual motion. Please go to the library and check out a basic physics textbook before you get on the internet again.
Thank you.

This concept is as amazing as the sheer engineering which went into realising the design. I can't wait to see it all its glory!!

What a beautiful machine! Why are brass gears so perfect? Brass mechanisms enthrall me. The creator of this clock is a master craftsman.
