The script was kind of bad in this movie, as far as dialogue and the reasoning behind some of their actions (such as Ryan's reasoning for wanting to fight Tyler so badly), but it was an intense movie with awesome fighting scenes.

-@coolerzguy- ryan mostly uses Muay thai, however in against the bald guy is more a jiu jitsu/ bjj where he attempts the arm bar and the rear naked choke.

Jake has a more gappling style such as executing judo throughs, jiu jitsu locks and chokes and he also uses boxing punches and Ti quan do kicks.

so jakes is more mixed with bits of everything, ryan seems to be heavily trained mostly in muay thai and jiu jitsu for stance and groung fighting.

@3melkor sorry, but no. Both fighters use a mix of Muay Thai for stand up fighting, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for ground fighting and submissions, the take downs are all Judo and Aikido. There is no TDK (Tae-Qwan-Do) or Boxing (although Muay Thai is known to many as Thai Boxing). Sorry I had to correct you, but I hate it when people are wrong.
