  • Halel is the actual word for Praise not Baruch which means bless.

  • Barak is not a Hebrew Word, Barak is actually an Arabic word meaning bless and the Hebrew equivalent is Baruch, don't know where you study your Hebrew.

  • Jeff - Thanks for your passionate teaching! Just wondering . . .You used Ps. 72:15 as an example of 'barak' praise. That psalm seems to be referring to praying for and kneeling before an earthly king (small 'k') It appears that is the prayer of a king (King Solomon) for his son (see verse 1). Can you give us some other scripture references for the 'barak' kind of praise being used towards our Heavenly Father?

    Many thanks!

There is no High letters in Hebrew , all letters in Hebrew are low case letetrs .

so distinctions using High case letter is found in western languages not in Hebrew.

  • Hi! I would like to know what Bible version you are using? I would like to share it to our church.

    thanks and God Bless!

  • Jeff uses New Living Translation.

  • It's amazing to me how even though I had no previous knowledge of these 7 different types of praise, God still lead me to do these things in church or when I was by myself. Praise God that his truth is timeless... God bless you Jeff
