i paint camoflauge much the same way other people tell me to do tiger stripes like by just spraying paint across the gun. but i take the time and make stencils like you showed. but i do actually make a tiger stripe stencil

if u spray paint it right. if it gets shot with a paintball wouldnt the spray paint come off so wouldnt u have to use like a sealer thing like a laminate paint?

First I would practice on the grip. Take off the grips then sand with 220 wet/dry paper the metal needs to be roughed up so the paint will stick. check out my other video on painting a model 98 barrel.

little tip dude, with camo painting. Always start with ur lighter colours and get darker as u layer. Instead of using crappy splat cut outs just use a hand full of grass or pine needles. give a more natural effect.

Taping isn't that hard. You just take an m3 painters tape or a masking tape if your feeling a bit cheap and just put it on where you don't want it.

Do you need to use primer on plastic or can you just paint as is? I have also heard of needing to degrease and clean a gun when using DuraCoat, do you need to do that with krylon?

Primer depends on type of plastic call/email Krylon for more info, as for degreasing the parts you want to paint always a good idea when I painted my A5 all I did was use rubbing alcohol let dry then started painting, Dura coat you need to follow the instrustions.

Um.. i want to do my entire gun. but i wanna do it digi camo.. should i do same style with different stencils? or should i do it differently.. and if i do the entire gun, should i take off the side plates, or just tape off everything real good??

Take the marker apart do each side by it self as for digi camo its a pain to get it right.

wow.. i did the digi camo and it came out great.. i cant get the cover off the right side, cause the vale and wahtnot is connected to it... i took off the left cover tho, and it came out good (alot with hopper and barrell) i used a brush and tiger striped the stock.. and i think ima use the brush on the right side too.. great + inspiring vid,

If its new no just wipe it down with rubbing alcohol let dry, if you equipment is used test a small section first if ok start painting, if you have to sand use 200 wet/dry.

All I did was make sure that the surface was really clean then I sprayed the olive let dry. But always try painting on a small piece first to see if the paints going to stick if the paint wont then you'll have to sand with 220 or finer paperwipe iff all the sanding dust then use the color you like let dry. Practice first it saves you a lot of headackes in the long run. They also sell a plastic primer from Rust-oleum & valspar.

On the A5, A5 hopper, Mp5 shroud & Butt stock I just cleaned it with rubbing alcohol let it air dry then painted. You can sand it if you want but be sure to use at least 220 grit I did that on the 450 rd hopper then cleaned it with rubbing alcohol.
