Well if you got the F450 well then yes you can tow that much but most likely you would have a F350 Which only has a 12,500-18,700. Now the Chevy has a 3500 which that can tow 17,000 pounds. And I am pretty sure that they sell a 4500 just like ford...

I own an 07 F150 XLT screw with a 5.4L V8 and a 4WD drivetrain, and an 05 Sentra 1.8S. Both are frickin awesome and haven't had any problems. My Sentra gets well over 30mpg in the city when I drive like an old lady and my F150 gets maybe 14mph with the same driving circumstance, lol.
Reminds me of an assistant manager I used to work for who always wore this bright green jacket. We called her the Big Green Machine, lol. That's crazy, a truck only 8 years old with over 300k on it. Take care of that puppy! Regardless of who makes the truck, always gotta have a 4x4 truck!

@72chevy36 if you look anywhere in america at trucks,fords hold more value. 08 ford f150 fx4 4x4 5.4 4 door with 30k miles+$29,000 08 chevy z71 4 door 5.3 with 30k miles= $23,000 i know because i have been lookin for a new truck for 2 months.and you can get a 08 dodge 4x4 4 door hemi with every option and 30k miles for $21,000 ! they are the cheapest and even the dealer told me you get more truck from dodge then the others. the chevy salesman told me to check out fords!!!!!!!

actually i was moving and didnt want to make 3 trips so i mounted that tow bracket on the dually cause it was the easiest to bolt on to the frame but i use that truck everyday for work and it hasnt failed me yet also the fords about 15 years newer then the chevy. just statin the facts for you

Well if you got the F450 well then yes you can tow that much but most likely you would have a F350 Which only has a 12,500-18,700. Now the Chevy has a 3500 which that can tow 17,000 pounds. And I am pretty sure that they sell a 4500 just like ford...

I own an 07 F150 XLT screw with a 5.4L V8 and a 4WD drivetrain, and an 05 Sentra 1.8S. Both are frickin awesome and haven't had any problems. My Sentra gets well over 30mpg in the city when I drive like an old lady and my F150 gets maybe 14mph with the same driving circumstance, lol.

thats pretty funny, cause we tried to own both, but we couldnt afford to keep the chevy running. chevy doesnt even make its own motors. now we have a mustang, two f250s, an expedition, and a bronco. we let the v8s do the talking.
